On June 27, 2026, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden inaugurated the garden exhibition “Jubileumsträdgården” (The Jubilee Garden) and the art exhibition “I stilla dagar” (In Quiet Days) at Solliden Palace Park on the island of Öland. The exhibitions were created by florist and gardener Karl Fredrik Gustafsson and artist CajsaStina Åkerström.
Karl Fredrik Gustafsson’s exhibition, Jubileumsträdgården (The Jubilee Garden), is being displayed on Gustaf V’s croquet lawn. The garden is inspired by classic French, English, and Swedish garden design. CajsaStina Åkerström’s exhibition “I stilla dagar” (In Quiet Days) features still lifes and nature motifs created in oil pastel.
