King Charles III and Queen Camilla undertook a four-day state visit to the United States to mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and to highlight the close ties between the two countries. On the final day of the visit, the King and Queen concluded their stay in Washington, D.C., with an official farewell ceremony for President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump in the Diplomatic Reception Room of the White House.
From the White House, the King and Queen travelled to Arlington National Cemetery, where they paid tribute to the fallen at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Covering more than 600 acres, Arlington National Cemetery is the final resting place of more than 400,000 service members and their family members, as well as two former U.S. presidents. The cemetery also contains graves of members of the British Commonwealth.
Later, in the small town of Front Royal, Virginia, the King and Queen took part in a vibrant community celebration. They joined locals at a potluck gathering—a symbol of shared community—offering a British dish alongside contributions from neighbors and families. Meanwhile, Queen Camilla visited Smitten Farm to learn more about America’s horse racing industry and ongoing efforts to improve horse welfare.

The blue dress is not my favourite, though I quite like this new V line on the top part. What I also like is her demeanor during this journey. And look, Camilla likes animals, big and small, and books she loves too. The result: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DXvCzJYMIhQ/ .

DeleteAnother lovely colour for Queen Camilla. Nice blue shoes in the first pics. She has looked great on this tour.
ReplyDeleteBien sûr ce couple est trop important pour faire la révérence. Josée.
ReplyDeleteThe first lady looks stylish and elegant, simple subtle outfit superb!
ReplyDeleteCamilla would look great in a suit!
ReplyDeleteCette couleur bleu pervenche lui va bien surtout dans cette robe qui varie un petit peu des modèles qu’elle a l’habitude de porter !
ReplyDeleteI am wondering why she kept the same dress but changed shoes!
