On May 1, 2026, Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan, together with their eldest daughter, Princess Aiko, arrived at the Imperial Villa Farm (Goryo Bokujo) in Takanezawa Town, Tochigi Prefecture, for a period of rest. It is their first stay at the farm in two years, and they are expected to remain for about one week. The Imperial Family was greeted by Governor Tomikazu Fukuda and farm staff, at the Imperial Villa Farm.
