On May 13, 2026, Queen Silvia of Sweden inaugurated the “Birds of Brazil” exhibition at the Swedish Museum of Natural History in Stockholm. The exhibition features 16 watercolor paintings by artist Jenevora Searight, along with a selection of Brazilian birds from the museum’s collections. The museum houses approximately 150,000 objects from Brazil in total.

In 2018, a fire destroyed large parts of the collections of the National Museum in Rio de Janeiro. As part of the efforts to help rebuild the museum, the Swedish Museum of Natural History in Stockholm donated more than 400 objects from Swedish and Scandinavian nature.

Another jacket from her ensembles by Weill. I never counted how many ensembles or jackets she has by that brand. I still like her wearing these which she can pair with a lot of colors. But some of them are becoming really too old now. I hope she'll found another style from another brand which suit her too. One is never too old to try a new style especially when one is thin and still looking good for a lady of her age.

The Weill jackets have one feature that makes them so very wearable: the fabric is not only soft(er) than usual jackets, thereby very comfortable to wear, it is also highly resistant against being crinkled, it stays fresh and nice.

La Reine Sylvia porte plus élégamment les vestes Chanel ou pas que la princesse Caroline et sa fille Charlotte.

I love these Weill jacket, they have served a long time, proving again and again that they are perfect for how she wears them. Somebody wrote, that they are "becoming old" - I don't agree, because why should age count in this respect, I simply don't see it. Other ladies wear jackets from a wide-wide range of designers, but aren't they more or less all the same? double or single breasted - not much variability either ... My only complaint this time are the gold buttons in breast height, I find them very disturbing and wholly superfluous.
