The Princess of Wales is making a two-day visit to the northern Italian city of Reggio Emilia as part of the international expansion of the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood. On the second day of her visit, the Princess of Wales visited the Salvador Allende Preschool in Reggio Emilia, where outdoor learning is strongly encouraged. The school follows the philosophy that the environment serves as the “third teacher.” Afterward, the Princess visited REMIDA, Reggio Emilia’s creative resource centre.

This is a lovely blazer and a lovely skirt, each in their own right but not the two of them together. Blazer and pleated skirt ... two different style worlds. For me, the combination the model is wearing would be much better and also very appropriate for this special visit.

  2. Élégant ce blazer à fines rayures porté avec cette jupe plissée dont la largeur est adéquate pour s’accroupir devant les enfants !

  3. I really like the striped jacket and the way the colour of the stripes is reflected in the skirt. The two tone shoes are cute. The pleated skirt looks smart although once again is too long. I'm tired of complaining about the Windsor ladies ultra long hemlines and I'm sure the community hear is tired of reading my complaints. This will be my last one.

Well I like the skirt. Not a fan of the blazer, but it works fine. I like the shoes don't know if I would have chosen them with this outfit. Wonder does she have another engagement before going back home? I remember that necklace and those earrings.

The jacket is nice with interesting details in the stripes and unique pocket design. But it’s not living its best life paired with a plain ivory top and skirt, even with the pleats. It’s a little safe and vanilla. I was hoping for at least a hint of Italian fashion, but maybe I’m setting unfair expectations.

This is a nice outfit for being outside and moving around. I like Catherine’s shoes a lot - they add a bit of interest and cohesiveness to the outfit.
