King Charles III and Queen Camilla are making a three-day visit to Northern Ireland. On the final day of her visit, Queen Camilla visited Women's Aid Newtownards in Newtownards. The Queen met staff and volunteers, hearing first-hand about the breadth and impact of the services they deliver to people at their most vulnerable. Women's Aid Newtownards provides vital support to those facing domestic abuse.
Over the past year, Women's Aid Newtownards has supported 523 women and 364 children in Northern Ireland. The organization provides services through its publications and website and runs the Freephone 24-Hour National Domestic Violence Helpline in partnership with Refuge.

Very cute shoes on Camilla
ReplyDeleteThis is my all-time favourite from everything Camilla has ever worn (OK, the blanket stitch coat she wore the other day is 1st in the coat category). I always whine about two-pieces, how good they are for her, but she only has two or three of them with tartan for Scotland and then this fabulous one. Extra love for the simplicity of the no-collar-neckline and how good that she does not wear one of her frilly blouses under the jacket. Length is fabulous too. Very pretty, this is how a modern Queen should look.
ReplyDeleteJe crois me rappeler que Camilla a déjà porté cet ensemble festonné tant sur le bas de la veste que des poignets ; j'aurais bien vu les chaussures dans une couleur blanche !

Sure once and maybe more than once. 2024 Epsom Derby with a terrific hat. This suit is why I alway repeat that she should opt for suits of this type (not for the usual male-type jackets).
DeleteA skirt suit...to all of those that prefer it. And its a rewear as is the turquoise shamrock brooch
ReplyDeleteBeautiful robins egg blue and love the cut on the jacket, especially the cuff detail. The Queen has great legs so I think this skirt length is so flattering, and the tan kitten heel is a perfect match.
ReplyDeleteThis two piece knocks it out of the park! Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteShe looks nice, better than her typical coat-dresses.
ReplyDeleteReally a very nice suit, love the pale blue color as well.

One of Queen Camilla’s best looks in my opinion. The colour is lovely and the cut of the suit is perfect and gives a really slimming silhouette. I appreciate the simplicity of a dress but this is so much more flattering than some of her dresses
ReplyDeleteThis beautiful pale blue two piece suit looks smashing, I love it! The fit is spot on, looking stylish and quite chic. Her dainty subtle brooch is perfect for this jacket. Love her bow shoes, they look gorgeous. Very attractive presentation by the Queen. This has been a most wonderful visit by the Royal couple.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen looks very stylish in this suit. Colour perfect for her and the shoes work perfect with it all. Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love the color of this two piece jacket/skirt. When she keeps her hands on her stomach one cannot see it is a two piece. It is cut and made in the same style as almost all her dresses and coats. As usual the shoulders are too wide because of the shoulderpads which are too wide/big.Why the designers always creates wide shoulders for her, she is a lady not a sport champion. Her shoes are looking good lately, maybe she invested in several new pairs.
ReplyDeleteI like the color of the Queen’s suit, but the jacket is so poorly fitted it makes me twitch. The shoulder pads are far too wide, and the sleeves are not set in properly, causing them to pull across her arms. The sleeves also seem too long to me. No doubt the designer may have wanted them this length, but with the cuts at the sleeves’ hems, the added length just makes them look sloppy to me. If they were slightly shorter and the cuts shorter as well, I think it would look much better. The bodice area of the jacket is lacking a bit of ease: it is too tight at the bust and is pulling at the seam of the covered placket. Finally, I don’t care for the slight flare of the bottom of the skirt. I would have chosen straight sides or a slight a-line cut instead.
