Gorgeous outfit for a country agricultural show. Totally in keeping with what she loves to wear and very well put together.

Not my favourite look. I understand she’s trying to be aligned to the theme and place, but this is such a mismatched outfit with no cohesiveness.

Nice to see her again. This skirt is nothing special at least for me.

Love this outfit…kind of boho-country chic, and I think the colors work fine together. It’s an autumnal palette, but we can be flexible about such things :-). Well done, Sophie!

  9. Her feminine, elegant blouse is very pretty, I like the jacket, but I personally prefer the jacket sleeve match the length of the blouse sleeve, minor quibble. I quite like the skirt, only thing I dislike are the tiers of her skirt. I like the swish and movement of her skirt. I like her boots and bag, matching well, her belt looks very interesting.

Oh boy, not sure I have words for this outfit. The intent is there and understand the color choices, but all of the pieces together are a jumble. Maybe they could be altered to make sense as an outfit?

… I think they totally “make sense as an outfit”, are in no way a “jumble”, and that you actually found, dear commenter, quite a few words for this outfit afterall. Perhaps it’s simply not to your taste? That’s ok. Whereas for me, I would happily wear the same to a country fair. So feminine, so comfortable, so English countryside.

@10:41: the post you criticise says exactly what the problem for her (and me too) is: individual components do not combine well. If you are OK with that, nobody will criticise you for that. So please accept other opinions.

      Total jumble indeed!

  11. Une tenue bien combinée même si je me serai abstenue de porter ce genre de ceinture en partie en métal !

Blouse and jacket are nice together (much-much better than how she combined this same jacket the other day on the horse show), and hair away from her face is always nice. So far so good, over the waistline, because at waistline the problems she has with combining single elements to a whole outfit begin. Too much orangey-yellowish in the brown of the boots and the bag - does not combine well with the tones of her skirt (as it did not combine well with light blue the other day, because these special "sharp" brown tones are nice with white - and there the list ends). Clear dark brown boots and bag would fit much better with this skirt (and with everything else too).
Then, does this bag really need that huge embellishment, and did Sophie really need to wear this belt, because these metal components live a life of their own and are both too dominant...

  13. Overall, I like this look. Very country-lady, of course. On closer inspection, however, there is a lot going on. Really a lot. Bag strap with big metal ornaments, a gypsy-inspired skirt (no offense to that particular people; they are very rich in culture and tradition), the belt, a stark white top (would have softened the look in a beige or cream colour), the jacket with a hint of peplum but not co-ordinating in colour with the boots or the the bag. It's all a bit too much of everything and not very cohesive.

I like this outfit on Duchess Sophie. The color of her jacket is in dark brown suede, I really like her blouse. The color of her skirt in red brown bric stone matches the jacket. If only she took away the lowest part of her skirt, it would still look more than long enough. As I cannot see if the boots are long or half long, I don't know if they can be worn with the length of the skirt. I am surprised that for once the color of the skirt, the boots and the handbag are matching, many commenters did not like she is wearing them together. The boho style of her outfit go well together with boots and a big handbag. A clutch or envelope bag would look ridiculous.
