On May 28, 2026, Crown Princess Victoria visited Stenshuvud National Park in Österlen, Skåne, which was celebrating its 40th anniversary. The hike began in Hällevik, in the northern part of the national park, where the Crown Princess and County Governor Peter Danielsson were welcomed by representatives of Stenshuvud National Park.
The hike continued via the Giant’s Gate to the southern part of Ljungheden, overlooking the sea, where the Crown Princess received information about controlled conservation burning and a marine project. The visit formed part of the Crown Princess’s initiative to visit all 31 national parks in Sweden.
By visiting all of Sweden’s national parks, the Crown Princess aims to promote outdoor life, encourage physical activity, and inspire more people to discover the natural experiences Sweden has to offer. National park status is the strongest form of protection an area can receive, and Sweden currently has 31 national parks.

One with Nature. She looks good in these cloths. It must not always be Gala gowns.
