On May 27, 2026, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended the seminar Children’s Health – Our Future. The seminar was held at the Bernadotte Library at the Royal Palace on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Generation Pep. Minister for Social Affairs Jacob Forssmed and Generation Pep’s manager Carolina Klüft also took part in the seminar.
The report Children’s Health – Our Future, launched in connection with the seminar, highlighted that investments in children’s health are not only important for individuals, but are also of great economic significance. An expert panel consisting of Children’s Ombudsman Juno Blom, Anders Nordström of the Karolinska Institute, and former Minister for Public Health Gabriel Wikström provided reflections and comments on the report.
