On May 27, 2026, the Belgian Royal Family shared several photographs of Princess Elisabeth ahead of her graduation from Harvard Kennedy School. The eldest daughter of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde earned a Bachelor’s degree in History and Politics from Lincoln College, Oxford, before pursuing a two-year Master’s degree in Public Policy.
The photographs were taken in locations that were part of the Princess’s daily life during her two years of study at Harvard University.

Such a lovely and capable young princess. Fashion wise, black loafers do not match well with the pretty summer white dress.
ReplyDeleteIt's a normal look for students
DeleteDear Virginia, that black shoes do not match to white (or summer) dresses, is not really true in this strict form. Sure, no black shoes with a bridal gown. But in an urban setting with a simple white outfit it is a rather cool and sophisticated choice, IMHO (but go*gle thinks the same :-).
DeleteI think the shoes are excellent for the dress. Even better I’d love to see sneakers with the dress for a student - but by the looks of the very glamourous bag, I think she decided to dress up a little. She looks perfectly lovely.
DeleteI agree. I don't like the black loafers with the light, summery outfit.
DeleteI think the loafers are burgundy or dark brown, same as the gorgeous purse. A lot more polished look than sneakers.
DeleteCongratulations! I hope she enjoyed her time studying here in the US. :)
ReplyDeleteWell Done! Congratulations 🎉
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely natural beauty! She is “très royale”, modern with an open face, go for it girl!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Princess Elisabeth! Oxford and Harvard are both top-tier universities. She's an attractive young lady and looks lovely in her white outfit. I think the heavy black or green (not sure on my device) loafers may be "a look" there, along with the purse.
If you go to Getty Images you can see photos of her at the granduation ceremony. I don't like the dress she choose - it looks a little too much like nightwear - and really doesn't look good hanging lower than than her black robe. But she and her friends seem to have had a lovely time along with the parents. Again, congradulations. No matter who you are, a Master's from Harvard always looks good on your resume/CV. :D
ReplyDeleteWe are having a glorious spring in metro Boston just in time for graduation celebrations. Elizabeth looks lovely, and her shoes look comfortable for all the cobblestone walking one does around Cambridge. Tennis shoes would have been my choice but she fits right in. MR
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your big day Pss Elisabeth. Very Impressive a master's degree.

What a girl!!
ReplyDelete( and lovely dressed!)
In ieder geval geen idiote hoge hakken, waar veel royals nogal aan verslaafd zijn. Mooi plaatje dit.
ReplyDeleteI can assume the black loafers are comfortable and practical for the day she was photographed, well done to her fore being true to herself. She looks lovely here. Her gold earrings and necklace up close are quite beautiful. Well done to her, a very intelligent and highly motivated Princess.
ReplyDeleteCP Elisabeth is wearing a 2 pieces ensemble of a white linen skirt and top by the American brand "Reformation". Her dark burgundy handbag "Naoko" is by Isabel Marant and the sunglasses by Ray-Ban. On a thin golden necklace she wears a little golden heart. She also wears 2 golden flower rings on her fingers one of them is by Christine Bekaert. I like her like that, once she will be as a young queen who will not wear a lot of jewelry every day.
ReplyDeleteCharmante princesse qui a su bien choisir un élégant petit sac à mains !
