For the occasion, the Princess of Wales wore a lilac dress. She was also wearing the Bahrain Pearl Drop Earrings, a favorite heirloom inherited from Queen Elizabeth II, which she has worn on several occasions, including the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey in March. I like this dress or coat dress on Camilla. Her dress is a lighter navy but it doesn't matter. I'm not a fan of most of Emilia Wickstead dresses but the color is good on this one on the POW. It's too loose up top. Sophie looks like she's going to a different event, but I like the dress. The Duchesses of Glo looks good in red. Prs Anne wears a nice coat. Good to see the Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra who looks lovely.

The DoE seems rather casually dressed for this event. It's not a bad outfit - just not event appropriate.

The DoE - what was she thinking. Looks like she's wearing her morning gown

The style of Catherine’s dress is pretty, but I don’t think this particular color of lilac suits her the best. The shirtwaist style of Sophie’s dress looks a bit casual for the event. I like the tailored elegance of the Duchess of Gloucester’s red suit. Camilla and Anne both look appropriately attired and much the same as usual. Kudos to the Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra for attending and for their steadfast service to their nation and the monarchy.

The Duchess of Edinburgh is wearing a beautiful duster.
I like the Princess of Wales' lilac dress. But she is copying the shoulders of Queen Camilla's dresses : shoulder pads are placed to far on the outside of the armhole to create wider shoulders, which is not beautiful. Queen Camilla's dress is not too bad this time and she is wearing again the beautiful black shoes she wore yesterday. The beautiful red coat worn by the Duchess of Gloucester is ruined by the brown suede boots.

A weird idea to have a birthday party for someone who is passed away.

A very Beautifull dress wears the queen. Princess Anne also so very good.
The Princess of Wales wears a good dress but looks somehow ill at easyJet. Sophie wears, alas, an absolute miss: not suitedeur for the festival occasion and fàààr too long.

Sophie does not look well. I do hope she is okay. Maybe the colour of the dress this is not her colour. She is a Summer toning, white should look better on her with her blue eyes or something in blue.

  9. The family group picture is priceless. So glad that the Duke of Kent and his sister, Princess Alexandra, had been able to make it. Is Prince Michael so poorly off that he truly could not attend? Bummer. Fabulous event to celebrate the life and legacy of Her Late Majesty QE II. Plus her wonderful dress exhibition just next door in the King's Gallery.
