This Easter Monday, the City of Luxembourg, in the historic streets around the Fëschmaart, and the village of Nospelt will host the traditional craft market “Éimaischen,” dedicated to pottery and ceramics. Ahead of this event, Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie received representatives of the organizers—the Comité Alstad and the Nouspelter Emaischen association—at the Grand Ducal Palace.
Representatives of the Comité Alstad and the Nouspelter Emaischen association presented the 2026 Péckvillercher to the Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess. At the traditional market, potters from the village of Nospelt sell small, decorated clay bird whistles called Péckvillercher in Luxembourgish. Blowing the whistle reproduces the cuckoo’s call.
The Emaischen Festival takes place in Luxembourg City’s old town, on Rue du Marché-aux-Poissons, and in Nospelt, which was the center of Luxembourg pottery from 1458 to 1914. In Nospelt, visitors can watch the potters at work or attend concerts, workshops, and exhibitions.
It is a good clean look for Stephanie, I like it. In my opinion, wide trousers are a real blessing for women with a bit more substantial body. Some people say they make them "bigger" - I think they don't make anyone bigger than they are, but they cover exactly those curvatures that don't need to be accentuated. Length is perfect, too. A bit more looseness is better than too tight and here, the top is also just loose enough for not to be too tight.

حذفI also have to agree with Anon12:53 here. The trousers are okay-ish, but the top is again too short on her, and also a little too tight. Either she really doesn't know how to dress for her figure/body type, or she is blissfully unaware of any such thing and simply throws something on that she likes. It's her choice anyway, and she seems to favour comfort over all other things on the fashion front. I respect that, of course, but it also makes me a little sad. With some minor changes, she could really, really step up her game.
حذفI wholeheartedly agree with the comment that well-tailored wide-leg trousers are flattering to “curvy” figures, and I would add that slender women look good in them too. As with every garment, it’s all about the tailoring — but wide-leg trousers can look wonderful on all body types, whereas more form-fitting styles are only successful on the very slim. — Jane

The top and trousers is a splendid look for someone who is most comfortable in a loose top over trousers; but here it works so much better than almost any buttoned blouse as this too is quite well fitted but soft which really suits her soft gentle demeanour, and the contrast to the trousers in colours and form is really excellent. A few cm longer in the body of the top would have in my opinion perfected it but u say bravo to whoever decided on this combination and long may it continue to be used. Highly flattering!

ردحذفThe red pants are a good cut and length, and are young and modern just like GDS. Not the same for the white top, which doesn’t fit well, and is a bit boring. I like this outfit in general, just needs some tweaks on the fit and styling.

She’s a human adult with a big role who is experimenting with her look and options, while mother to two very young kids, and I think she’s doing a fantastic job wearing the clothes she enjoys wearing … isn’t that what we all enjoy doing?

حذف@15:19: how do you imagine such an upgrade please? Could you pinpoint for us what you see as not fashionable enough for a woman in her role? Her trousers are of the last fashion, the blouse is simple, but is simple the same for you as not fashionable? What would you want her to wear? I would expect that if you throw a phrase like "she needs an upgrade" at a woman of her background and intellect, than you can explain it too.
حذفI find the outfit perfectly fine in fit. All I would do is add a bit of red to tie the 2 pieces together or a nice long necklace, just to break up the white. Had this top had a design with red it would also be nice.
