The school is located in a building established in 1961 by Father Llanos in Entrevías, which he dedicated during his lifetime to vocational training. Since 2001, it has operated as a hospitality school, providing comprehensive training for future professionals in the restaurant sector, including chefs, bartenders, and waitstaff, with instruction delivered by a team of specialized teachers.

  1. Very nice outfit but overly casual, imo, for a royal visit. She doesn’t need to do Maxima style over the top dressing (complete with hat) but this is too little royal magic!

AnnieM - of course Letizia knows the correct clothing level for every single visit and we cannot possibly! She is royal yes, but she’s a human visiting a school, and has chosen to look incredibly neat … and relatable. A very royal decision. Royal does not mean tiaras and jewels and haute couture … it means of royal blood or married in…

    2. I don't think she looks too casual, given the location they are visiting.

I agree with you, Annie, too casual in her position, the blouse is perfect but a skirt would have added more elegance and set the queen apart from the others around her.

I am having the impression that no formal dressing was required. The King and all the other men wore not tie. The majority of the ladies in the group's photo are not dressed formally either.

Thee king is wearing jeans. Letizia is very appropriately dressed.

Felipe's blazer is a beautiful fabric and colour -- so smart! it's great to see a royal man wearing a staple which has that point of difference.
Letizia's outfit is just lovely; however I feel the length of the pants, combined with the high waistline, unbalances her classic proportions and makes her torso look shorter than it actually is.
I think shorter hems on highwaisted pants would suit her proportions better. Or, she could wear pants with a hip-level waist, or wear a top out and over her pants; either would lower the visual horizontal line created where her top meets her pants. Lyra

You have stated it well. I couldn’t put my finger on why it was not working for me. I like the blouse, I like the pants, it seems the few inches of higher waist threw the proportions off.

Both King and Queen look well groomed in their neat casual attire. Queen Letizia's blouse is very chic and a good color for her. The pants fit her slender silhouette perfectly.

  4. Wow! I noticed the King before the Queen LOL! Doesn't he look so well groomed and stylish in this wonderful blazer, this looks so good, brilliant color and not sure what the fabric is, but I like this very much. As always he looks well groomed and attired.
The white pants are the perfect fit and length, the soft blue silk blouse looks pretty, elegant and feminine.

@ Virginia Dogwood - absolutely. This is a lady with quiet elegance and does not need 'over the top dressing' to make a statement,or as a crutch to make it all about her. Lovely!

No need to make all these allusions. Every queen knows how to dress in what circumstances. What needs formal clothes in one country does not necesseraly means the same in another country. Not every well dressed queen wishes to draw the attention on herself. What is expected of a queen in one country is not always expected in another country.

'Every queen knows how to dress..' Well if they did there would be no need to comment here, yet people do because sometimes they don't know how to dress!
