On March 23, 2026, Minister-President Hendrik Wüst received Queen Silvia for her first official visit to the State Chancellery in Düsseldorf. In the evening, Rheinische Post honored the Queen as “Düsseldorfer of the Year” in the Lifetime Achievement category for her decades of commitment. During the gala evening, Minister-President Wüst presented Queen Silvia with the “Düsseldorfer of the Year 2025” award.
For decades, Queen Silvia has been committed to supporting children worldwide who have experienced violence and abuse, including through the World Childhood Foundation, which she founded. The World Childhood Foundation was founded by Queen Silvia in 1999. In North Rhine-Westphalia, the Childhood House at Düsseldorf University Hospital and the Child Protection House in Bonn provide effective and coordinated support for affected children.

La reine est toute pimpante avec cette petite veste légèrement cintrée portée sur une jupe le tout dans un style printanier !
ReplyDeleteThis beautiful summer skirt suit deserves a rewear, and it's great to see it again (though the skirt hem could afford to be a little shorter). I remember this jacket looked fabulous when Sylvia paired it with white crepe pants and white sneakers at Princess Ines' christening last year.
ReplyDeleteI like this styling even more without the black-and-cream Chanel ballet flats that she wore with the full suit later in 2025. Her blush pumps tone perfectly with the print colours; and her hair in this relaxed styling is as spring-like as her suit. Lyra
So pretty! From the first two pictures I was expecting trousers or a strait skirt and was positively surprised.
