Princess Margriet of the Netherlands visited the exhibition “Sailing for Freedom” at the Katwijks Museum in Katwijk. The exhibition explores the history of the Dutch merchant navy. Through historical objects, visual material and personal stories, it illustrates the conditions under which merchant navy personnel sailed and the role they played in supplying the Allies.

She is so stylish. Love the color of her cape and design. The colorful blouse worn, looks a good color combination. Always a joy to see her.
ReplyDeleteShe looks 20 years younger than 83, and her sister Beatrix is 5 years older than her?!!
ReplyDeleteOn this age 5 years is very much!
DeleteSorry: at this etc.

ReplyDeleteI love capes. It's a garment that goes back thousands of years worn by both men and women. They are so eye catching, functional and versatile. They keep you warm while allowing freedom of movement. This one has a dramatic look with the slits for the arms. The collar is interesting and the cappuccino colour is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteShe is one of the better dressed older queens or princesses. Love her cape. She has always had a very lovely short hair style just like the Duchess of Gloucester who has also a very lovely short hair style for an older lady and I am also thinking at Queen Sonja of Norway.
