On March 25, 2026, the Prince and Princess of Wales attended the installation ceremony of Sarah Mullally at Canterbury Cathedral, south-east England. Archbishop Mullally was formally installed as the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury during a service marking the start of her public ministry. Sarah Mullally, who worked as a nurse before becoming ordained, is the first woman to be appointed leader of the Church of England.
Senior members of the British Royal Family, the Prime Minister, and other dignitaries were among more than 2,000 guests in attendance at the installation service, which also included faith leaders, schoolchildren, and healthcare workers. For the occasion, the Princess of Wales wore a new cashmere wool coat from one of her favourite brands, Suzannah London.

ReplyDeleteA very smart looking outfit on Kate. I love the bold hat and the black trim on the collar and along the skirt as well as the contrasting buttons. She opted to go unbelted. I like the belted look too.
ReplyDeleteCatherine’s outfit is very striking with the matching hat. It looked like it was a bit of a struggle to hang onto the hat in the high winds outside.
