King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia are making a state visit to Poland. On the second day of the state visit, Queen Silvia and Minister Parisa Liljestrand attended the seminar “Barnahus Model in Poland, Sweden and Europe: Progress and Road Forward in Poland,” aimed at strengthening support for the implementation of the Barnahus model in Poland.
Barnahus offers children who are suspected of having been subjected to crimes the opportunity to tell their story to specially trained staff in a safe and specially adapted environment. Instead of being referred between different authorities, the children meet responsible actors in one and the same place.
Afterwards, the King and Queen, together with Minister for Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard and Minister for Culture Parisa Liljestrand, visited the Warsaw Museum. At the museum, the King and Queen and the ministers met Polish and Swedish researchers to discuss the shared Swedish-Polish cultural heritage and how it can be made more accessible.

ردحذفShe wears her Chanel(y) two-piece with so much more aplomb than Charlotte of Monaco the other day ... one does not have to like Chanel(y) boucle two-pieces, and this green is not my favourite for this style, but: she is so well put together, with the utmost care for colour combinations and details, shoes are perfect, shirt is buttoned against getting caught under the jacket - she is simply perfect.

ردحذفRubbish, the queen is 82, has a good figure and looks dignified and certainly regal. Her starkly dyed hair is not flattering and she would probably look far better going natural. I remember when queen Elizabeth took this step, the results were very positive.

She has already a lot of bouclé ensembles in jewel tones. I think at her age she has the right to choose another color now and then. Her clothes have not an autumn colour but a fashionable spring colour (alle shades of light green, olive green and other greens are fashion during spring and and even summer 2026).

حذفNot everyone likes/have to copy queen Elizabeth. Queen Sylvia has always been dressed with ensembles, dresses, coats and trousers with jackets of a beautiful collection of clothes. She has always been a queen with an excellent taste. I can understand why she prefers to keep her beautiful hair color. Not everyone has to give up coloring their hair just because others prefer grey hair for older woman. A lot of women younger than me (80 years old next year) prefer not to dye their hair anymore and are looking much older with their grey hair than I am. I have about the same hair color as Queen Sylvia (maybe a bit lighter and another short hairstyle) and I've always received compliments for my hair and still do. I do not see why I have to give it up just because of my age.

Dear 13:35, Most OLDER people I know who dye their hair do not in fact
ردحذفlook younger as a result, their features usually look more pronounced. Those who have gone natural mostly have softer faces and look better. The only royal here who looks wonderful with dyed hair is queen Sonja. My opinion has nothing to do with principles, simply well-meaning observation.
