Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden took part in a military exercise with Latvian allies at the Ādaži Military Base in Kadaga.
On March 5, 2026, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden visited the Swedish battalion stationed as part of NATO’s multinational brigade at the Ādaži Military Base in Kadaga, Latvia. During the day, the Crown Princess also took part in an exercise together with Latvian allies. Earlier that morning, the Princess was received by Latvia’s President Edgars Rinkēvičs in Riga.

My heart aches seeing royals and officials out quite furiously building up alliances in the face of menacing countries. Victoria always beautiful and charming but I wish she didn’t have to get sent on these missions.

DeleteVictoria sera en mesure de comprendre ce qu'on lui dit en cas de conflits durant son règne. Elle ne sera bien sûr pas envoyée au front comme Leonor d'Espagne et les autres futures reines.
DeleteShe’s not sent out on this by the swedish goverment, It’s part of her military education to visit the swedish Nato brigade. Of course at the same time visiting another country she’s pays her respect to the countrys leader (that’s probably a request from the goverment). Her military education is something she her self wanted. As a future head of state I think It’s positive that she’s well informed about all the different aspects of the nation. After all the monarc in Sweden meet with the goverment every month to get vital information on what’s going on in the country. Of you are educated, you will be more able to know what the inform you of. And last but not least important, she’s a symbol for the state and visiting soldiers in the field strengtens the moral, showing that she’s serious about her role as a symbol for the county. Not only wearing fansy gowns and tiaras. I love that she can get her hands dirty, showing strength and resilience in the troubled times we live in. As a swede I really appreciate her and I think she’s doing a great job, I’m proud of her.
DeleteShe look good in uniform.
