On Thursday evening, more than 300 honorary consuls gathered at Kronborg Castle for a dinner, with Danish King and Queen attending as guests of honour.
On the evening of March 5, 2026, King Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark attended an official dinner at Kronborg Castle in Helsingør. The dinner took place in connection with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ consular meeting, which brings together more than 300 honorary consuls. They assist Danish embassies around the world with citizen services, trade promotion and cultural activities.
An honorary consul is appointed in a personal capacity and typically has their own profession alongside the role. In recognition of their unpaid efforts, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regularly invites the consuls to Denmark for a joint meeting featuring both professional activities and official events. On this occasion, the meeting took place in the historic setting of Kronborg Castle.

Mary and Frederik look fantastic and happy. Also love the dress which is black with marked white collar and cuffs.
ReplyDeleteThe blond woman is very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLast black & white picture off QM is so beatiful ❤️
ReplyDeleteI like this classic, simple and elegant outfit on Mary. Both the blouse and skirt have an unusual design. I wish I could see the skirt from a better view. It seems to be a wraparound. The buttons add some bling.
ReplyDeleteMary looking wonderful! This couple is so much love and respect.I really like them.
ReplyDeleteI like this blouse and skirt, semi formal but feminine without being a pant suit or tuxedo. The king looks nice in this suit.
ReplyDeleteForgot to add that the length of her hair is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this look. The black high waisted skirt is perfect with the blouce. QM like Queen Letizia of Spain knows what works well on her and wears it well.
