On February 21, 2026, the Princess of Wales attended the Guinness Men’s Six Nations 2026 match between England and Ireland at Allianz Stadium in London. Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, is the home of England Rugby. The Princess of Wales is the patron of the Rugby Football Union (RFU). Ireland defeated England 42–21 at Allianz Stadium.
Alexander McQueen midi wool coat

A time to retire this coat. The over extended shoulders I am not keen on, the colour is nice. I know she can have her hair the way she wants but it to overwhelming especially the last photo. She is always fussing with it. Shoulder length is very becoming on her. The weight alone takes away some of the natural bounce.
ReplyDeleteCatherine looks well-dressed and well-groomed. The sapphire and diamond earrings may be my favorite out of all her many earrings. The shoulders of the coat are a bit too pronounced and stiff for my taste in this more informal sports setting, but the coat fits her well and is a good color on her.
ReplyDeleteAgree about the earrings!
DeleteDress up like this for a sport event ?? Pffff ….
DeleteMary
Yes Mary. She dresses up for formal occasions as you no doubt do. She’s not attending to watch the sport but in her official role wherein there is a formal meeting / component. The “pfff” you let out can be withdrawn!
DeleteOggi è meravigliosa, ben truccata e sorridente. I capelli sono il suo punto di forza, il simbolo che ce l’ha fatta…auguro il meglio a lei e alla sua famiglia 🌹
ReplyDeleteWow her hair is her strong point, really? Not everyone looses their hair with chemo, but the texture and colour sometimes changes. I respect your opinion however I would hope that a none physical attribute would be her strong point.
DeleteTotally agree Rossella! I would rather say it in English “her hair is her crowning glory”. And it’s hers to wear as SHE likes.
Her Royal Highness looks fantastic, the coat are too die for and her hair are always in perfect condition.
ReplyDeleteVery Well Done
It's a Rugby match; sapphire and diamond earrings are a bit much. Coat nice colour style not so great. Hair well she still has to always touch it, that means look at me and my long hair.(Tara)
ReplyDeleteshe is there in an official capacity surrounded by men in suits... its not a casual day out with friends, so she is appropriately dressed. i dont understand why people feel the need to be so bitchy in the comments these days. its one thing to like or dislike an outfit but the personal comments are getting really nasty
Delete100% agree with you Tara ! It should be very brits as look at other royals, including King and Queen, never such a show … even in an official role.
Delete22:02 sour comment
DeleteNoreen, it’s been happening here for a couple of years now. It doesn’t make sense but it’s fairly regular! People can be very nasty and personally nasty.
DeleteIf she was sat in the stands I’d have agreed with you. But, she was sat in the V.I.P box in her role as patron, so sapphire earrings look quite at home.
DeleteShe looks relaxed and beautiful. I hope she had a good time!
ReplyDeleteVery astute comment, Rossella. I believe you are precisely right about Catherine's hair. And she owns it completely. She represents many women and she represents them very well. She has arrived, indeed.
ReplyDeleteEsatto, era proprio quello che intendevo 🌹
DeleteA lovely turnout by PoW Catherine! My favorite earrings too and her hair looks lovely, but best of all, she looks relaxed and happy. MR
ReplyDeleteI love that she wears her sapphire earrings, she has them wear them, so nice to see beautiful jewelry
ReplyDeleteWell groomed, the coat color is very nice, beautiful earrings. More importantly, she looks happy
ReplyDeleteThe blue coat, I personally love, it fits well, length is perfect, I like the design of this coat, the royal blue color is sublime. The only deficit I find for this coat is the shoulder shapes. The diamond and sapphire earrings look good here, they are smaller in style and shape as opposed to the double d/sapphire earrings she wears. Her hair on this occasion looks good, well-groomed and falls well. Her makeup is on point. Its lovely to see her at this event. She looked happy, engaging and enjoying this game, lovely to see.
ReplyDeleteI wish we in Norway hade a Crown Princess we also could be proud over!
ReplyDeleteOuch yes. Tough times.
DeleteDiamants et saphirs, j’adore mais pas les épaules carrées !
ReplyDeleteI would not retire the coat, as it is really a beautiful one, except the shoulders (just look at pic 4, it is overdone). Changing those shoulders would be a sustainable (and sure doable) solution.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you looking so well princess kate.
ReplyDeletewhy thank you; as an Ireland fan I was blown away by our performance today. Wonderful to see Kate so resplendent and radiant after her recent trials and tribulations. Good health to you you Kate

Love the way her nose does that cute scrunchie thing when she laughs 💕
ReplyDeleteIt’s great to see her smiling and looking happy. She’s been through a lot
ReplyDeleteLove Princess Catherine 💖

ReplyDeleteGo Catherine. The Uk loves you. 🇬🇧
ReplyDeleteLinda y elegante como siempre. Me encanta su outfit.
ReplyDeleteQue bonita se ve catherine, ahora si ya esta recuperada, que bueno por su familia y por ella, hermosa bufanda.
ReplyDeleteLovely
ReplyDeleteIf I had to sum up Princess Catherine's behaviour in just one word, I would say:
ReplyDelete"level minded".
That is how it Is done when you have to face hard challenges.
It goes without saying she looks fabulous from head to toe, impeccably clothed for the occasion.
Love her accurate, professional makeup : a well balanced colour palette mixing up cold and coral shades.
Love the multidimensional hair colour outcome, as well, looks like a combo of at least two professional techniques.
Jaw- dropping sapphire and diamonds earrings.
🙄🙄
Delete* level headed
ReplyDeleteShe looks great at this event. Like the coat a lot.

What a sophisticated look - saphire earrings and McQueen coat, etc … for a sport event, even as a patron of the rugby. No deny she’s stunning, but quite OTT dressing up like this ruins a bit the sporty event. Probably unique to the Brits.
ReplyDeleteI like this coat on Catherine it gives her shape. The color is flattering. I just wish she’d have worn her hair in a ponytail rather than it sitting limpet like on her shoulders. I’m sure once the hairdresser had styled her hair at home it looked bouncy and full, but sitting outdoors and gravity just drags her down.
ReplyDeleteLowri.
I cannot get used to the pointy shoulders of the Alexander McQueen coats and jackets. The blue color is beautiful and suits the princess. I cannot get used to the way they are overdressed in Britain to assist at a sports event, even if she is the patron of the RFU. There is chique sporty wear too these days and only worn by the rich and famous. Maybe she should try it one day and she would be the first to start a completely new approach in the sports world of the U.K.
