  4. I admire Queen Silvia. She is one of the few royals who has not shied away from taboo issues. This initiative is another great one to support. I am happy that violent crime and shootings are being discussed now - after years of politically correct nonsense.

A lovely comment Vanessa. Peaceful countries have long tried to reduce all chance of gun violence by solid gun laws. It’s the USA that has policies the rest of us cannot remotely comprehend where the “right to bear arms” somehow remains more important than human lives. And they are still not addressing it. Sweden has been horrified by rising gang / ethnic gun crime after years of being very open and generously welcoming immigrants into their very good social systems.

Wow, what a tragic turn in Swedish society that there is gun violence for them to grieve. But if there is, it is wonderful and correct to have the leaders and ceremonial leaders of the land there speaking out against it and supporting those who grieve. This is human - and normal for humans - to be compassionate about this (rather than dismissive as in some notable countries who protect guns over life). The face of the boy in the left of the first two pictures is full of grief. So here I don’t see Sylvia’s outfit, I see her compassion, and grief, and outrage.
