Queen Camilla visited the headquarters of Avon and Somerset Police, where she heard about their work tackling domestic abuse and sexual violence, spoke to 999 call handlers, and met members of the service’s domestic abuse survivors’ group. Arriving at the headquarters, the Queen was welcomed by Chief Constable Sarah Crew and Superintendent Sharon Baker.
During a tour of the control room, the Queen heard from a call handler with experience of dealing with domestic abuse calls. The force receives approximately 34,000 of these calls per year. The Queen was shown the systems used to respond to calls and Avon and Somerset Police’s approach to supporting vulnerable victims.
Nice suit in good colour. Queen Camilla seems to me to be a good and interested listener in these visites.
ردحذفOh a two-piece, very nice! Though I am in favour of shorter skirts, maybe this longer one works, pity we cannot see her standing (but Helen does her magic sometimes later) . But a skirt suit is a win in any case. The colour is also good on her.
