On January 13, 2026, Queen Mary of Denmark visited the Danish Heart Association (Hjerteforeningen) in Copenhagen. Queen Mary has been patron of the Danish Heart Foundation since 2005. During the visit, she met with several young people who were born with a congenital heart defect. Three young people told the Queen what it is like to live with a heart defect and the challenges it creates in everyday life.

ReplyDeleteWith the greatest of respect Queen Mary is lovely, well dressed and delightful. However beautiful is somewhat of a stretch. For beauty look at the Queen of Bhutan and the late Princess Grace as two examples.

Agree 23:53…Mary is quite attractive in a girl-next-door kind of way but not a stunning beauty. Not many people are and, of course, beauty is subjective. And Queen Jetsun and Princess Grace are/were very beautiful.

I say this all the time,but I so admire QM and her belief in re-wearing her items. I like this Massimo Dutti suit,it seems to be a favourite of hers. I wonder if a lighter jumper might have lifted the look.

ReplyDeleteDear 23:53, I read somewhere that princess Grace was very photogenic with professional makeup, but less beautiful in reality, so comparisons are tricky.
ReplyDeleteQueen Mary always looks impeccable and regal and gets it just right, which is not easy in casual Denmark. She needs a defining hairdo, but this is a minor point.
