Danish King Frederik and Queen Mary’s state visit to Lithuania concluded with the opening of an exhibition and a reception at the National Library of Lithuania. Together with the President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda and First Lady Diana Nausėdienė, the King and Queen opened the exhibition Friends in Need. Following this, the King and Queen hosted a reciprocal reception marking the conclusion of the state visit.

The exhibition, which focuses on the Danish–Lithuanian friendship, features, among other elements, the installation A Fleet of Friendship, Light and Hope, composed of lantern ships created by Danish and Lithuanian children and adults. The exhibition marks the start of a year-long programme celebrating the enduring friendship between Denmark and Lithuania.

At the reception, Det Unge VokalEnsemble (DUVE), also known as Copenhagen Young Voices, performed together with the Vilnius Municipal Choir Jauna Muzika. DUVE is a Danish amateur choir comprising 24 singers aged 18–35, and the choir’s performances form part of a parallel musical initiative in Denmark and Lithuania.

Do you have the same hair quality as Queen Mary ? Otherwise her hair care routines could be not recommended for your hair.

13:05 what a sweet compliment to Mary. Me too!

17:34 why bring another commenter’s spontaneous joy and compliment down by questioning them and implicit criticism? It’s unfortunately common in social media comments but it’s mean spirited and unnecessary.

You can do what you want with your hair. Sorry, but you misunderstood me. I didn't wish to interupt your dream of beauty. I was just practical and wish you'll find the best treatment for your own hair and have a lot of pretty beauty dreams in the future. Anon. 17:34

It certainly is not an easy job to be just practical and ultimately wish someone a lot of pretty beauty dreams. Two opposite ends of a spectrum. How complex and profound you are equipped with the urge to express yourself over a stranger's words of compliment on a public figure.

      Cheers, anon 17:34

What a gorgeous elegant pantsuit. I don't feel the high neck top complements it very well, I would have preferred a crewneck or v-neck top. Maybe a brooch on that white lapel.

Mary looks demure and elegant. Her make-up, hair and general look are perfectly on point, and I love her dangly earrings.
The suit jacket is also well cut for a relaxed style, and the flared trousers match or compliment this style as well. However I think that the two look better if the jacket is unbuttoned, as on the model. The skin-toned blouse was a good choice though I think that a plain round neck would also have looked pretty good. Once again, lovely look.

The top is very special, a subtle, surprising combination, and it gives the overall look the desired elegance on this state visit, perfect.

Don't like the neckline of the blouse. It looks like a blouse with a bad finish at the neck. The pants are looking too wide and a bit too long to me. First days nothing but dark winter clothes, now a pantsuit in a light white fabric like in spring or summer. A part from the Elie Saab burgundy gala dress, the clothes of Queen Mary were nothing special during this state visit.

Colours don’t belong to seasons! Mary gets to choose. Black and white are both elegant.

I didn't talk about colors alone. I adore winter white in a woolen fabric. This however is a suit made in an thin fabric. Somebody said Mary catched a cold. I am not surprised, but she is free to decide what to wear. Anon. 16:18

    2. Agree anon at 17:05. Andiata is still successful even though many other fashion brands have gone bankrupt in Finland.
The clothes are also affordable for ordinary people like us.

This pantsuit is particularly popular and beautiful, however, a round-neck top would have looked better under the jacket.
Imo Mary has looked very good throughout this trip, great chosen clothes and colours.

Agree. Mary looks very stylish . Andiata makes elegant clothes. What I have experienced they are meant for quite slim figures, thus ideal for the princesses.

My only complaint is the hem of the pants. IMO it makes the frabic look cheap and flimsy. Sadly, looking at the photos of the models apparently, this is intentional. I suppose the designer was going for a drapy effect but it's not working. I would love to see this jacket paired with something else. Ditch the pants.

I know it’s not to everyone’s taste, but I really like the blouse HM Q Mary is wearing. The slight touch of difference from the norm of necklines we usually see, to my eyes, elevates the whole look. Not to mention, for someone like me who feels the cold, it looks warm :).

Now, this is sheer perfection, I wouldn't change a single thing.
The blush coloured blouse beautifully complimenta the bright white pant suit and its rounded, slightly twitsted collar adds interest.
As already suggest by a commenter, the overall look would be enhanced by leaving the jacket unbuttoned.
Love the makeup palette , coral shades subtly pick up the blouse blush hue.
    Beautifully executed half up style.

I love the white suit, and the subtle blush color in the blouce, though I’m not as keen on the collar of the top. As always QM brings it together in her accessories. Her drop earrings are quite stunning.

  17. The b/white photo is beautiful, lovely photo of the couple. The white pantsuit looks splendid. Her blouse has an interesting neckline, one that doesn't appeal to me. The color of the blouse is pretty, feminine look. As already mentioned I also prefer the jacket unbuttoned. I like the color of her shoes. Her hair looks healthy, shiny and well groomed. The earrings are lovely.

The pink pendant earrings are a favourite of the queens of Europe. Queen Maxima has this shape and colour of earrings, Queen Mathilde has 2 pairs of pink pendant earrings like this. The first pair she had were made of white gold and quartz. She passed these earrings to her daughters. The second pair she bought at the Belgian jeweler Leysen are made of kunzite and surrounded by diamonds. The jeweler calls them the "Mathilde" earrings.

  20. I know this is not done very often, but I want to give a shout out to King Frederick's suit, it has a beautiful sheen to it. Maybe it is a wool/silk blend. He is a handsome man!
