I always admire CP Elisabeth's very thin waist. Although I do not like maxi dresses during the day, the dress suits CP Elisabeth's. At first I thought it was a shorter dress until I saw the complete picture. Maybe a pair of transparant stockings would work better with this length. Peplums are also coming back now and then. I must admit I never liked them, but CP Elisabeth is wearing it well (maybe because she has a very thin waist). I also love her updo. I saw a picture on a Dutch (NL) website taken from the back. The updo was done very beautifully. There is also a video in which one can see her in a discussion with Mr. Marc Rutte. It is good to see her bringing her studies into practice (it was asked by Harvard University Kennedy school where she studies that the students should do some practice during their vacations which she did last Summer during the holidays and now by meeting people who are working on the highest level).

I think Princess Elisabeth is gorgeous in this Sandro dress and that the dark stockings are very winter appropriate.

Although it is a rewear, I like Queen Mathilde in this white top and sequined pencil skirt. It was the 3rd new years reception and now there is still one to go for the Ministers of the Belgian Federal Government and the ministers of the Flemish -, French - and German speaking communities of Belgium. Queen Mathilde's outfits this year were simple but looked good. I wrote a comment on CP Elisabeth separately, so I won't repeat it here.

I knew the queens top was Natan by the design, it is a lovely colour for her. PE looks great in her dress, dark colours are very in so appropriate.

Agree - instant “it’s Natan”, then wondering just how they get away with their odd designs, but also acknowledging that Mathilde is particularly beautiful in white despite off Natan necklines/seam choices.

The design of Natan's top have been taken over by other designers. It means that it is not that odd and that there are more people who are buying this style and looking good in it.

  5. Actually one of the few Natan pieces (the top in particular) I like and would wear myself. Good look on Queen Mathilde. Crown Princess Elisabeth looks equally as polished but the black is a bit too harsh on her. I liked her better in that dark navy ensemble she wore in the previous engagement.

The top and skirt worn by Queen Mathilde are not new. She wore it about one year ago at an other new years reception.

    2. I didn't say that those were new pieces. I know they had been worn before. @Anon 08:38

20:40 it’s normal. Nothing to comment on here though.

  7. Qn Mathilde looks lovely, Pr Elisabeth looks quite good as well, although I would also prefer transparent stockings with this dress, which should also be a bit shorter, to appear as a midi dress.

  8. J’aime le style de la jupe de la Reine mais pas du tout de celui du haut !

This is a rare hit from Natan. QM really does suit white/cream. The skirt is a lovely fit and length.
I would have liked to have seen the CP is a shorter and lighter colored dress. Her hair and make up is lovely.

  11. The Sandro dress and hose looks great. The Princess looks stylish and elegant. The Queen looks beautiful. Love the jumper, the piece across the shoulders and neckline, I love this looks very effective and adding interest. I love her hose and black shoes, well put together outfit.

Don't usually like Natan but this top is skilfully structured. Q. Matilda looks elegant as does P. Elizabeth, black stockings are spot on.
