On Thursday, 29 January 2026, Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan met with 14 recipients of the 2025 Emperor’s Cup of the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Festival—an award presented to outstanding operators in the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors—at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.
The Emperor and Empress also viewed an exhibition showcasing the achievements of the Emperor’s Cup award recipients. The Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Festival is an event that recognises individuals and organisations who have made significant contributions to the promotion of Japan’s agricultural and seafood products through their dedication and efforts.
