Danish King Frederik and Queen Mary’s state visit to Lithuania concluded with the opening of an exhibition and a reception at the National Library of Lithuania. Together with the President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda and First Lady Diana Nausėdienė, the King and Queen opened the exhibition Friends in Need. Following this, the King and Queen hosted a reciprocal reception marking the conclusion of the state visit.
The exhibition, which focuses on the Danish–Lithuanian friendship, features, among other elements, the installation A Fleet of Friendship, Light and Hope, composed of lantern ships created by Danish and Lithuanian children and adults. The exhibition marks the start of a year-long programme celebrating the enduring friendship between Denmark and Lithuania.
At the reception, Det Unge VokalEnsemble (DUVE), also known as Copenhagen Young Voices, performed together with the Vilnius Municipal Choir Jauna Muzika. DUVE is a Danish amateur choir comprising 24 singers aged 18–35, and the choir’s performances form part of a parallel musical initiative in Denmark and Lithuania.

What a gorgeous elegant pantsuit. I don't feel the high neck top complements it very well, I would have preferred a crewneck or v-neck top. Maybe a brooch on that white lapel.

Mary looks demure and elegant. Her make-up, hair and general look are perfectly on point, and I love her dangly earrings.
ReplyDeleteThe suit jacket is also well cut for a relaxed style, and the flared trousers match or compliment this style as well. However I think that the two look better if the jacket is unbuttoned, as on the model. The skin-toned blouse was a good choice though I think that a plain round neck would also have looked pretty good. Once again, lovely look.
