The Grimaldi Forum hosted the world premiere of Ma Bayadère, the latest original creation by Jean-Christophe Maillot for Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, on December 27, 2025. Princess Caroline of Hanover, President of Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, attended the premiere. Inspired by La Bayadère, the great classical ballet first created in Saint Petersburg in 1877, Maillot offers a bold and contemporary reinterpretation of this cornerstone of the classical repertoire.
