On December 14, 2025, Princess Aiko of Japan attended a ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of the founding of Chiba University’s School of Nursing in Chuo Ward, Chiba City. Chiba University is the country’s only national university with a nursing department. Some 400 people, including students and university staff, attended the ceremony.

The shoes are standard issue, and part of 'the uniform'. In private, they can (and do) wear whatever they like.

Well Stephanie, your version of “nice pumps” can be different from mine in any country… but across cultures we should remember: tastes and beauty vary. Have you visited Japan? One of the most wonderful things to observe is how they have held closer to their traditions and not joined global tastes and fashions too fast. I love seeing what they are wearing and learning about their different styles and designs.
DeleteI actually like the fit of this suit, the panels in the skirt give it structure, the length is good too. The pearl necklace is perfect. A fabulous floral arrangement too.
ReplyDeleteAs good as her outfit is made and fit Princess Aiko, as pity it is that she often wears clothes which are too old for her.
ReplyDeleteI wish to add something about her hair. Her hair is separated in the wrong way. It should be or in the middle or more to the right or to the left. The bangs are cut very badly and the updo is also too old for her. She looked so much better the other day with her long hair. At least an hairstyle which corresponded more with other young ladies of her age category.

DeleteThis is a flattering jacket, with a bit of interest in the collar braiding. The pearls add a nice touch. In picture 3 she smiles very like her mother.
ReplyDeleteThe jacket has some interesting features, particularly the collar, I like it adding definition and adding elegance. The pearl necklace is perfect. She looks wonderful, this suit fits like a glove. She has the nicest, sweetest smile.
