On the evening of December 21, 2025, Emperor Naruhito, Empress Masako, and their daughter, Princess Aiko, visited the photographic exhibition “Kōyō Ishikawa: Tokyo Under Wartime Conditions,” held at the Shōwakan Museum in Tokyo. The exhibition marks 80 years since the end of World War II and features photographs by Kōyō Ishikawa, a Japanese photographer and an official of the Metropolitan Police Department.
Ishikawa was the only person to document the damage caused by the U.S. bombing of Tokyo during the war. The Imperial Family also met with members of the younger generation who serve as storytellers, sharing memories and reflections on the wartime experience.

The last photo, is a picture within a picture, notice the leaning of each family member, very interesting.
Aiko looks wonderful, a nice fitting jacket, good length of skirt. Well done
ReplyDeleteAïko's jacket and skirt ? or dress ? seem to fit well, but the design is much too old for her.
