On November 15, 2025, the Princess of Wales released a new video in which she reflected on the meaning of autumn, describing it as “a season of reflection, growth and deeper connection.” The Princess of Wales joined children from Farley Junior School in Luton, along with chef Gill Mellor, for a cookout and bonfire in Windsor Great Park. For the event, she wore a waxed jacket with a corduroy collar by Barbour.

Farley Junior School, whose pupils appeared in the video, collaborates with the children’s charity Go Beyond to provide access to nature and residential trips for young people across the UK who are living in difficult circumstances. The video, filmed by Will Warr, is part of a series titled Mother Nature.

  1. I love the idea of nature, the tranquility and peace, the Princess is highlighting amongst other things, this. Involving the children is really wonderful, out of the home and electronics and with nature. The Princess looks healthy and engaging. She looks appropriately groomed.

      Hello, Ava.
Your comment is so exhaustive and in tune with my thoughts that I don't need to add a thing.
Turning back to nature and a healthy, safe upbringing go a long way.
Kudos to the Princess of Wales for bringing the most crucial aspects of responsible parenting to the public attention once again.
      Hugs for you!!

    3. P. the original. Thank you for your comment. Lovely to see you on the blog. Very good point. Responsible parenting, showing young families any age really its very important, taking the time, being outside and building new pathways. Encouraging children, teenagers to explore the environment and Mother Nature . Finding and tackle new hobbies is vital. The charity, Go Beyond sounds brilliant. I love this idea. What they provide could open up a whole new world for these young people. Too much time is spent on electronics and such like, not healthy at all. Hope you are well. Hugs.
