On November 11, 2025, the Princess of Wales attended the Service of Remembrance marking Armistice Day 2025 at the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas. This was the first time the Princess had attended the ceremony. Armistice Day, observed on November 11, marks the anniversary of the end of the First World War. Services held across the Commonwealth remember the servicemen and women who have fallen in the line of duty since 1918.

What a lovely, strong woman. I envy her quiet dignity and composure plus the beautiful picture she creates. Britain is very lucky to have her working for them.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, she’s a gem! MR
DeleteTotally agree. Committed. Empathetic. Engaged. Caring. And. Beautiful. Ac
DeleteThis is by far a more flattering look on Catherine. We’ve seen her wear the coat as she watched the Remembrance Services from the Foreign Office balcony.we’ve never seen the full length. It works perfectly with the hat and the boots. Her hair is beautifully styled.
ReplyDeleteLowri.
Catherine looks elegant and dignified. Her ruby and diamond earrings look beautiful with her black outfit and red poppies.
ReplyDelete-Royal Watcher
She looks so elegant, very regal. i wish Camilla would make an effort too.
ReplyDeleteThat is no comparison, Camilla is much older and imo does her best in her own style !!
DeleteHer chignon is so big it needs its own zip code!
ReplyDeleteIt has to be big for two good reasons: 1. Catherine's thick and long hair; 2. the slightly slant and full chignon provides a stable support to fix this superb percher hat.
Delete* slanted
DeleteIt’s such a beautiful hairstyle and hat!
DeleteThis coat fits her well, has a military vibe to it.
ReplyDeleteImpressive!
ReplyDeletevery nice military style feminine coat without looking clowny...

DeleteHere is another outstanding piece of millinery aligning with the "percher hat" design (also called " saucer hat" in this case) featuring a subtle bow.
ReplyDeleteAnd here is another wonderful hairstyle.
What counts most in my eyes is not only the poignant tribute to the fallen throughout all these Remembrance events, but also Catherine's very personal tribute to Princess Diana.
It looks like there Is a fil rouge embracing her array of outfits and accessoires worn over the past few days till the current event: the white collar, the coatdresses from one of Diana's go- to stylists, Catherine Walker, the Collingwood jewels, the hat design featured on this post.
It feels like listening to Princess Catherine saying:" I am honoring all lost lives and Diana is here with me and the Royal Family.
I want to have her by my side,I want to keep her memory alive, too".
I read on a magazine what follows:
(Princess Catherine) observed a two-minute silence at 11 a.m. to honor those who lost their lives serving in the Armed Forces, and laid a wreath with the hand-written message, “In memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice, we will remember them, Catherine.”
Don’t drag Diana into everything Catherine wears ! Let Diana rest in peace.
DeleteDon’t drag Diana into everything Catherine wears ! Let Diana rest in peace.
DeleteDear 21:31, if someone refers to Diana, they are not dragging her into everything! They are simply noting what they think is a link. That’s no problem, let them.
DeleteI fell a deep respect for Diana's memory and I would never drag her into everything.
DeleteThere are some obvious details in Catherine's looks which I can see and that you may not keep into consideration.
Diana rests in peace, don't worry.
You may not agree with my reading key but still stay polite.
I agree.
DeleteThank you, @ Anonymous 05:02.
DeletePlease can we stop talking about Diana. It's 2025 and Kate is now the Princess of Wales. So let's limit ourselves in writing about Kate and the fashion choices she personally makes
DeleteSuperbe manteau dont j’admire le dĂ©tail militaire sur la poitrine ; son chignon est un vĂ©ritable chef d’Ĺ“uvre !
ReplyDeleteBetter than Sunday’s Cenotaph terrible outfit. Good rewears - except the boots. Interesting that typically this particular wreath-laying is reserved to blood royals. I guess she passed the test.
ReplyDeleteCH
I like the boots. I don't understand what is wrong with them.
DeletePrincess of Wales - dignified, appropriately attired for a solemn and respectful occasion. Now this is how you wear a zip up the front coat/dress.
ReplyDeleteThe Princess of Wales looks impeccable, and displays genuine respect. Gracious and elegant.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful lady!
ReplyDeleteStunning, dignified, and elegant. I love her hat!
ReplyDeleteJanet
Indeed, @Janet.
DeleteIts lovely to see a rewear of this black coat. The embroidery, beautifully done, just enough. This Military style coat is perfect for this occasion. I love her hat, gorgeous and suits her beautifully. Her up style hair, intricately done, beautifully styled. The subtle smaller sized ruby and diamond earrings were a good choice on this occasion. Love the black pointed toe boots. The Princess has such refined elegance and quiet dignity. Beautiful woman and Princess.
ReplyDeleteI just want to add a very personal remark.
ReplyDeleteThese Remembrance events remind me of a powerful, realistic, splendid poem by W.Owen:
" Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori".
Another standpoint, another perspective, from some shattered soldiers fighting for their country.
- WW1 and WW2 and all conflicts, including the forgotten ones-.
My personal tribute for all the fallen, in every place, in every corner of the world.
In Memoriam.
