Later that day, Princess Aiko attended a performance by the young musicians of the Issarapon Violin Ensemble in Nongvai Village, Vientiane. The Issarapon School opened in November 2015 as a kindergarten with four students. With support from Angel Garden Kindergarten in Japan, as well as Mao Sato, Nobuko Usami, and Dr. Hiroki Yanagisawa, it has since expanded and now operates as both a primary and secondary school.

Well what an array of outfits. The first dress and jacket not the best. This pale pink is not a good colour for her. Clearly her shoes are too big. It has been said royals wear bigger shoes to accommodate foot swelling but sliding forward in a shoes is not good either. Second outfit again a tad too big. The blue suit fits well and is a better colour for her complexion. The blouse and pants look very nice.

I agree with the comments about the first outfit. The shoes are definitely too big. Sliding forward in shoes is very bad for the toes.

I agree, especially the blue with her half up hair style. Love the spontaneous pictures where her sweet personality shines through. She would make a wonderful monarch! MR

Paloma.

I've seen other royals do this, but why? They wear shoes way too large, isn't that weird way to have to walk?

The only thing I love here is the beautiful white blouse that Aiko wears in the last photos — she looks exquisite in it ♥️. The outfit would have looked _so_ much better if the trainers had matched the dark blue of the pants, visually lengthening, rather than truncating, the line of the leg. (That is so basic! It drives me nuts when white shoes are paired with dark pants 😖.)

I love the white shoes with the outfit and I’m so glad she did it. It’s fresh, young, trendy and it suits her so well! Other colour sneakers would have taken away the fresh and casual vibe!

Totally agree, she has become a confident and shinning star, she is a lovely young woman who cares and is interested in the places but more than anything the people she meets, I really enjoy watching her be her own self, Rem

Personal message and how to for. How does she get big sleeves into slim suit sleeves ? Ive tried before and end up with either crumpled creased big sleeves or looking like mr michelin tyre man.

Simple supposition : peut-être que sous son costume bleu elle porte d'abord un tee-shirt blanc, et ensuite elle s'est changée pour mettre la tunique. Regardez en zoomant : le collier est différent. P.

For me the problem with the first outfit is that the bolero and the dress underneath don't seem to belong together. The volume and line of the skirt compete with the small, fitted bolero that should be the outfit's focal point. Imo the combination would have worked if the dress had been tailored closer to the body, like a sheath. -- Jane

Wow, beautiful, especially the blue suit, where she wears the trousers and no jacket.

In a different universe, she would have made a wonderful empress.

    Wow!
So you can actually comment from Japan too!
There are a handful of comments that seem designed to make it look like Japan has a bad reputation among English speakers, but what on earth...?
Princess Toshinomiya, always so lovely. Would you support Japan's future?
