On November 4, 2025, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima hosted a lunch at Noordeinde Palace for Dutch citizens who have distinguished themselves through exceptional achievements. The 27 guests had recently received awards or other distinctions for their accomplishments in various fields such as art and culture, media, sports, and business.
Among the invitees were athletes who had become world or European champions, the Teacher of the Year, the world’s best beer sommelier, and winners of the journalistic awards De Tegel and the Zilveren Nipkow Prize. Through this “Lunch for Outstanding Achievers,” the King and Queen wished to express their recognition and appreciation for individuals who have made remarkable contributions in their respective fields.

DeleteI love the look of this green dress; it seems relatively unstructured but yet it has shape. I'd like to see a full length, standing photo of it. As for the colour, I love that too, very much. The snake brooch is cute and whimsical.

Agree about how well this outfit suits Queen Maxima. The skirt may be a leather or leather effect one she has worn previously but it looks good when she’s seated anyway
DeleteOoops...I've just realised that it isn't a dress but a 2 piece top and skirt. Was hard to tell initially on my phone. I still like the top very much.

Beautiful color and draping/cut on the top, made even better by the snake brooch. It looks like it’s paired with a leather skirt in a similar color, which I find totally chic!
ReplyDeleteMaxima looks wonderful! The dress is really nice on her and the snake critter pin is amazing! It makes the outfit. She did really well accessorizing, letting the pin be the focus, and keeping her earrings smaller.

ReplyDeleteQueen Maxima looks splendid, green really suits her (I've said it before). I don't like snakes and they scare me, but that's not the reason I don't like the brooch. It looks odd to me, she has many other bold brooches. Her hair looks good and she looks very serene.
