On November 3, 2025, Crown Princess Victoria attended the 2025 Marcus Wallenberg Prize ceremony, held at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm. The Marcus Wallenberg Prize is awarded annually for outstanding scientific achievements in forest industry research. During the ceremony, the Crown Princess presented the prize to Dr. Gerald Tuskan.
Dr. Gerald Tuskan received the 2025 Marcus Wallenberg Prize for his pioneering work in sequencing and analyzing the first tree genome. He led the project to sequence the genome of the black cottonwood tree (Populus trichocarpa), which was published in 2006. This was the third plant genome to be sequenced, after those of the model plant Arabidopsis and rice.
Dr. Tuskan is the Director and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Center for Bioenergy Innovation at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). For the occasion, the Crown Princess wore a leopard-print dress by Malina.

Not necessarily a favorite but I will give her points for not over accessorizing it. She kept the bling and her hair simple with this busy pattern and that's good.
ReplyDeleteI’m not at all a lover of animal prints, but this is fantastic on Victoria! Love it.
ReplyDeleteI think the same
DeleteCompletely agree….she looks so modern and fun!
DeleteI love the leopard print! Victoria looks modern and chic! This is far better than her traditional floral prints. At first I thought her hair was in a straight ponytail, which would have been perfect with the dress. She really looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteNot bad, for me it is a bit much, but Victoria looks great wearing this gown.
ReplyDeleteEach person's taste is different.

This dress looks good on CP Victoria. The high neckline looks constricting to me, and I don’t think it’s especially but she seems to choose it on many of her dresses
ReplyDeleteVictoria a de l’allure dans cette robe à imprimé léopard ; j’aime beaucoup !
ReplyDeleteNice to see her in something different. Also nice that she can wear this in her country, Catherine sure couldn’t.
ReplyDeleteJ’aime cette robe portée par la princesse Victoria.
ReplyDeleteElle est féminine et seyante.

I love this too! the narrow cut suits Victoria really well ,and it's a refreshing change from her voluminous styles. And with minimal accessories, its simplicity showcases the interesting texture of the sequins beautifully. Lyra
ReplyDeleteThough I don't like animal prints, this looks fabulous. She really looks fantastic! The dress fits well and is very enhancing of her. She looks stylish and chic. Love the black accessories. Her earrings look interesting, they look black to me, but I could be wrong. Her hair up and back off her face in this instance works in well with the neckline of her dress. I think she looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWow Victoria! She dares and with splendid result!
ReplyDeleteI'm in minority here but I dislike this dress. There's too much going on - animal print, high neck, open back. The material looks cheap and uncomfortable. So I looked what is the material...hm, polyester. For this price you can get much better dresses and something that is not made in China.
