On November 3, 2025, Crown Princess Victoria attended the 2025 Marcus Wallenberg Prize ceremony, held at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm. The Marcus Wallenberg Prize is awarded annually for outstanding scientific achievements in forest industry research. During the ceremony, the Crown Princess presented the prize to Dr. Gerald Tuskan.
Dr. Gerald Tuskan received the 2025 Marcus Wallenberg Prize for his pioneering work in sequencing and analyzing the first tree genome. He led the project to sequence the genome of the black cottonwood tree (Populus trichocarpa), which was published in 2006. This was the third plant genome to be sequenced, after those of the model plant Arabidopsis and rice.
Dr. Tuskan is the Director and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Center for Bioenergy Innovation at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). For the occasion, the Crown Princess wore a leopard-print dress by Malina.

Not necessarily a favorite but I will give her points for not over accessorizing it. She kept the bling and her hair simple with this busy pattern and that's good.
ReplyDeleteI’m not at all a lover of animal prints, but this is fantastic on Victoria! Love it.
ReplyDeleteI love the leopard print! Victoria looks modern and chic! This is far better than her traditional floral prints. At first I thought her hair was in a straight ponytail, which would have been perfect with the dress. She really looks wonderful.
