  1. Now that I see another crumpled shirt collar under a suit jacket, my allergy against untidy necklines is in full bloom once again. Why, oh why, you loveliest of all lovely queens.

    1. Collars under suits look great in general. She may have been moving around quite a bit with her big generous arm gestures and the jacket has pulled the collar down a bit. That’s ok. Some people put the collar outside the jacket collar which holds it more robustly in place though others have told me it’s “wrong” to do it. Either way, I like the look of a collared shirt with a collared jacket and totally understand when it gets a bit pulled around.

    2. I'm not shaken up about the collar either. It is not always necessary to use every button on a shirt and sometimes would look worse completely buttoned than when left open.

  2. Lovely smile, neat hair, lovely color...but this suit makes Queen Maxima look about 50 pounds heavier than she is. Not a great look as far as the cut and style are concerned.

    1. Maybe not heavier, but certainly not a flattering cut. The colour is so beautiful though I almost missed looking at the cut!

  3. This blazer is meant to be worn buttoned up. Also, the blouse worn underneath is not good. Nah. Lovely colour, though (the suit).

  4. Finally a woman with lovely donned hair.
    Refreshning to see.

  5. The pants look like a skirt on each leg!

  6. Q Maxima is wearing a fresh and lovely pantsuit and blouse. The deeply pleated pants appear too baggy on her.

  8. This suit would look much better with the jacket buttoned up. She has no shape with it open. I have no problem with wide legged pants, but without a structured or form fitting top, the entire look is overwhelming her. The color is nice and the pants are hemmed to the correct length.

  9. I think this jacket needs to be worn buttoned up, it looks a little untidy in this fashion. The pants are okay.

  10. La couleur bleu pétrole de cet ensemble lui convient à merveille surtout quand il est combiné avec ce léger chemisier !

  11. Of course double breasted should be worne closed!
Otherwise the cut disapears , as you see here.
Not Dries van Nooten’s fault ( he can do nothing wrong in my eyes). Indeed the colour is quite good.

  12. It must be one of those days..... and we all agree I think. Maxima looks like she got dressed in a rush in a dark closet with no mirror. Love her but she's looked better.
