On October 8, 2025, Queen Máxima launched the digital platform In je bol (In Your Mind) in Utrecht. In je bol is a platform for young people between the ages of 16 and 27 that focuses on mental health. Through In je bol, young people can access reliable information, share experiences, receive free and anonymous listening support via phone or chat, and discover what other types of help are available—online or nearby. The initiative was developed by the De Kindertelefoon Foundation, MIND Us, 113 Suicide Prevention, and the Join Us Foundation.
During the launch event, several young people shared their personal experiences related to loneliness and performance pressure. They also spoke about their involvement in the creation of In je bol. Queen Máxima and several young participants then discussed the importance of a platform like In je bol and the shared responsibility of making youth mental health an open and ongoing topic of discussion.

DeleteThe last photo shows the full outfit the best on Maxima and I like it very much. It's one of those possible 'better for night than day, but suitable for both' kind of outfits but Maxima being Maxima, she makes it work either way, with her smile and personality being the best accessories. The trousers and the blouse look lovely, and the coat adds elegance. I love this dark blue colour too.

The last picture, where Maxima’s hair is tucked under her coat, makes me think a short-ish bob haircut might look quite good on her.

Delete@ Bob style: yes, but you cannot make a good bob without enough hair (I know what I am talking about, sigh) - or without daily styling efforts. I love Máxima as she is, looking almost always spectacular even without a spectacular hairstyle - for example on this day in elegant dark blue. - and not trying to hide the fact that yes, she has thin hair and skips daily time consuming hairstyling efforts.

Now I get it, she mixed up the two outfits. The one shown above, she should have worn to the engagement in the evening, and the one with the fru-fru sleeves should have been worn to this engagement.
