On October 19, 2025, Princess Kako of Japan attended the “Girls’ Messe 2025” ceremony held in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo. The event, hosted by the Girl Scouts of Japan, recognized junior high, high school, and university students for their efforts to address social issues from the perspective of girls and women.

In her address, Princess Kako referred to Girl Scout activities and expressed her hope that “efforts will bear fruit and lead to the realization of a better society, including gender equality.” Afterward, she met with the award recipients.

  1. La robe est assez jolie sauf le col noué (à mon avis), cependant je préfère sa précédente robe à pois, vue en août, et qui lui va mieux.
    Les accessoires rouges ajoutent un peu de pep, les boucles d'oreilles sont mignonnes, son chignon est parfait.
    La robe est un peu longue pour son âge mais toutes les autres dames royales des autres pays portent aussi cette longueur très sage (pourtant une longueur aux genoux ne serait nullement choquante, et je ne comprends pas pourquoi elles ont toutes des robes jusqu'aux mollets) ...
    Sa posture ne l'avantage pas (photos 1 et 6) car ses mains croisées ont tendance à arrondir ses épaules et à voûter son dos, c'est dommage.
    Je sais que c'est une gestuelle habituelle au Japon. Toutefois elle aurait plus d'allure en tenant sa pochette sur le côté.
    Cela dit cette jeune femme est charmante. Paloma.

    1. I think one of the very best fashions accessories apart from a smile is a good posture. I think she manages to maintain it despite her respectful hand gestures. As to length I think this very sweet dress would look equally good at this length or at the knee; the style would match either. I love the red accessories and her earrings look particularly special. I too normally prefer no neck ties , but of all I’ve see of them this year, this one is the most minimal and acceptable. She’s one of my real favourites!

  16. This dress is pretty and feminine. The design I like, the neckline is interesting. The skirt of the dress has nice movement. Love the color of her accessories, earrings, clutch and shoes, clever choice. She is delightful. Always a pleasure to see her.
