The placement of those plaits is a masterpiece of design, perfectly manufactured. Extreme loveliness here, and that very modest but very visibly present decolleté neckline is a beautiful addition.

The pleats? - yes they’re lovely. I love this fitted-flared dress design and this is a beautiful example in a glorious colour.

  6. The dress is stunning. The way the fabric swirls and crosses over the waist like a waterfall into the skirt is so amazing. The brilliant shade of blue looks great on Kako. I only wish the dress was a few inches shorter. It is a bit overwhelming on the petite princess.

A very nice dress with movement, though I don’t like how the darts are so prominent. I guess this is why the Japanese usually have princess seams on the bodice

I Think if it was shorter, the dress might look childish. It needs to have the room to swirl as it does so beautifully. She looks great.

Wow Princess Kako your choice is fantastic love those pleats & dress. They pleats swirl & move with her. That neckline is subtle & little daring for a JRF lady very clever Kako. I also.noticed the shoes there appears to be a slight shift from the normal a little bit of a higher heel & I think but could be wrong a little pattern at the toe. Good on you Princess Kako you are a style Queen Mary

  15. ドレスは魅力的で、彼女の柔らかい曲線を引き立てています。
    しかしこの場面にはふさわしくありません。
    髪飾りもお似合いですけれど、皇族として天皇杯を授与するのですから、帽子を被れば良かったと思います。

  16. This dress is beautifully crafted, the design is wonderful, so interesting and different. The color is sublime. The dress moved beautifully as she moved, plently of swish. Her white accessories are refreshing.
