On October 27, 2025, the Royal Couple’s Awards Ceremony (Kongeparrets Priser 2025) took place in the Riding Hall at Værket in Randers. This year marks the first presentation of the Royal Couple’s Awards. Following the succession to the throne, the Crown Prince Couple’s Awards became the Royal Couple’s Awards, and the King and Queen presented the awards for the first time under their new name.
The recipient of the Culture Award is film director and screenwriter Christina Rosendahl, who, through her artistic work, has distinguished herself with personal, engaging, and thought-provoking films. The Social Award is presented to the non-profit organization Code of Care, which helps businesses employ people with mental, physical, or social challenges.
The new Community Award goes to Green Neighbourhood Communities (Grønne Nabofællesskaber), which promotes the green transition within local communities through more than 300 neighbourhood groups across Denmark. The event will be broadcast on DR1 and DRTV on Saturday, November 1.

Interesting that the king wore a tie to coordinate with the queens skirt. I would have liked it a bit better had it not been solid but a bit of texture or tone on tone. Lovely skirt which a lining or slip would prevent it from cling to her legs.
ReplyDeleteJudicieuse combinaison du haut noir avec la jupe large plissée de couleur caramel !
ReplyDeleteMary so in love. I really hope her husband loves her as much!
ReplyDeleteIt makes good pictures
DeleteDifferent from Queen Mary’s usual style but I like this, especially the swishy skirt. Love King Frederik’s coordinating tie.
ReplyDeleteThey both look very stylish.
ReplyDeleteThe polka dot jumpsuit. Haha!!
ReplyDeletejust terrible...
DeleteA slightly different look and style for Mary, but still very nice. It's very good to see her trying different items, such as this mulit-pleated skirt which not everyone can wear but she can. A top with a wider open neck towards the shoulders, and either 3/4 or full length sleeves would have looked nice too.

@Anon 9:13, agree with you. Longer sleeves and a wider neckline would give more balance to this outfit. But it looks nice also like this.
DeleteCP Victoria had once a perfect black top with a wide skirt that could be perfect to this skirt too.
A very nice outfit for Mary … which I would say is understated, except she’s added a lot of diamonds! I like the autumnal colours and they suit Mary excellently.

Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI love this style Mary has chosen a little different to her usual style. The skirt and top work in well. Love the color of her accessories. The diamond earrings and bracelet are a lovely addition, love her up style hair, very becoming.
ReplyDeleteShe is such a beautiful lady!
