On September 23, 2025, the Prince and Princess of Wales visited Southport to reaffirm their support for the community in the wake of the July 2024 knife attack during a children’s dance class. Their visit began at Farnborough Road Infant and Junior School in Birkdale, which Elsie had attended. The Prince and Princess of Wales were greeted by 430 children from the infant school—where she had been scheduled to begin Year 3 last autumn—along with staff and parents, including Elsie’s parents, Jenni and David.

Later, the Prince and Princess visited Churchtown Primary School in Southport to officially open a new playground dedicated to the memory of the young victims of the tragic July 2024 attack. The new playground includes a stage, dedicated reading areas, interactive play zones, and quiet spaces, all thoughtfully designed to meet the diverse needs and interests of children.

  1. I see all kinds of stories about Kate's hair being blonde. It doesn't look blonde to me. It looks a bit lighter than her usual shade.

I think it probably was a temporary color/rinse as opposed to a permanent color. Every time she washes it, a little more of it washes out getting her slowly back to her "normal" color. I'm putting "normal" in parenthesis because she probably colors grey roots.

I like the pink and gray color combination of Catherine’s outfit very much, but am not a fan of bow blouses. Also, I think more of a blazer style coat would have looked better - the open coat looks quite voluminous as worn here.

Attractive white dress with black trim. I think this would also look very nice on P Catherine.

I think the coat swamps her. The lapels are too wide. Catherine is blessed with a slim figure, she needs clothing that is more structured and streamlined otherwise the clothing swamps her petite frame. I like the pop of pink in the blouce, but for me the bow looks limp. If she had worn it wrapped round the neck with a side tie it would have given it a more flattering look.
Lots of discussions on Catherine’s hair, which is her crown and glory, but I wonder the necessity for it to be so long. On engagements maybe wear it up or in a ponytail, again giving the look a more polished finish.
