On September 20, 2025, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the 'One805 Live' charity concert in Summerland, Santa Barbara, hosted by actor Kevin Costner, who also serves as an ambassador for the charity. The concert, held at Kevin Costner's estate in California, raises funds for essential equipment and mental wellness programs for Santa Barbara County’s first responders. This year's event featured Trisha Yearwood, Good Charlotte, The Fray and more. On this occasion, the Duchess wore a halterneck shirtdress by Carolina Herrera.

Absolutely gorgeous 😍

DeleteBeautiful couple. Yullia
DeleteShe is 50+
Delete@Anon 12:02 - 🤦🏼♀️
DeleteQuel charmant couple ; belle silhouette de Meghan dans cette robe-chemise ceinturée au délicat boutonnage !
ReplyDeleteLove her dress. Harry looks good too.
- Dorothe -
ReplyDeleteSie haben recht mit der Knopfleiste, Dorothe!
DeleteHappy to see these two again, involved once more in charity work, and living their lives to the fullest. Megan looks great in the CH halter dress. Her hair looks great too.

Nulla che non si sia già visto.
ReplyDeleteD’accord, Rosella.
DeleteMeghan toujours aussi ravissante
ReplyDeleteFroufrou
its time to shave the hair Harry and embrass baldness
ReplyDeleteWhy ? For me he can keep the hair he still has. I like him the way he is.
DeleteWhat was the point of saying that?
DeleteOoh. Harry looking scruffy. Meghan looks ok, although I think she would have looked better with the two top buttons done up - the model looks excellent with the buttons closed to the top and it gives a more beautiful top shape. Hope they’re happy because sheesh what a lot of controversy they’ve caused and also live with.
ReplyDeleteThey've caused the issues, they like the attention, be it positive or negative.
DeleteDisagree. Prefer the buttons open.
DeleteBeau couple !
-Astrid.
The Duchess could have opened that last button over the belt too, the belt could have held up the dress anyway. A bit cheap to wear it like this.
ReplyDelete16:04 cheeky but also funny. I think the dress looks better buttoned up as designed.
Delete20:54 Agree with you. So much better open.
DeleteAre they really so close?
ReplyDeleteI don't believe it.
What we "belive" or think we know is irrelevant.
DeleteForget the wasters!!!
ReplyDeleteThen please stop with the bs no you only prove how much you care.
DeleteObviously they live rent free in your head. Anna
DeleteWallmart Wallis makes jam!!!
ReplyDelete🤣
DeleteThat’s so mean to Walmart!
DeleteTo put Wallis, The Duchess of Windsor in the same sentence as Walmart shows your level of taste because she was in the hall of fame list best dressed of all time. Lastly she did not steal the King from his throne because the man threatened to kill himself if she did not marry him. Leave Wallis Simpson out of this!
DeleteHa, Wallis Simpson....good analogy. Just figured we would see them soon, afterall we just saw several appearance of William and Catherine with the Trumps, so Meghan usually pops out soon after.
DeleteCongrats. You really are a jam.
DeleteThey both look happy and relaxed. This dress suits Meghan beautifully and I love it. Beautiful details. Blue is always a good color for Meghan, the open buttons don't look bad either. So nice to see Harry so happy, he is there in a good place.
ReplyDeleteLovley to see the couple nice and relaxed.
ReplyDeleteIf I was forced to make a choice, I’d go for the buttons done up.
ReplyDeleteNice to see the Sussexes out and about.
Carolina Herrera is busy with the American ladies at the moment.
She did the dress for Melania Trump at the state dinner in London this week.
The gown the First lady wore, I loved! I didn't know it was Carolina Herrera. Thanks for the intel.
DeleteHello Ava Pittman.
DeleteRe: the yellow gown worn by Malania Trump for the recent state dinner in Windsor Palace.
Yes there was very little mention of the gown being from the New York fashion house of Carolina Herrera.
I liked the gown and found it living up to the high standards of Carolina Herrera’s work.
However, I thought it was a very bad choice for the occasion.
A simple complementing bolero style top or something like that would have given it a final touch of elegance and suitable for a Royal Gala Dinner in an historical castle.
With the bare shoulders it gave me the impression of being a gown for a Hollywood or red carpet event.
But it’s history now so let's move on.
Nothing wrong with bare shoulders at a State dinner. Queen Letizia did the same.
Delete2:15 yes but Letizia has class so the two cannot be compared.
DeleteWhat the difference does it makes leaving 2 buttons open or closed ?
ReplyDeleteFrom a distance Meghan looks like Queen Letizia in her Carolina Herrera dress. I like her and Harry. They are looking happy together.
Good observation. They both have a navy Nina Ricci with a similar halter top. Quite similar aesthetic Clean lines, and less is more in both cases.
DeleteIf Letizia were wearing something like this, it would be much more polished and fit better. Meghan has tended to wear outfits with a lot of extra fabric and unnecessary belting.
DeleteIt makes no difference. It comes down to a matter of your opinion of Meghan. If you don't like her, you think the partially unbuttoned placket is a problem. Silly to think that buttons must be completely buttoned if they are on a garment.
Delete@Anon 21:35: The difference ist vulgar style (open down to even further than the breasts, one *has* to look there) versus elegant style letting the dress work what it is designed for.
Delete1:57 that’s not true. Not thinking about the who is wearing it, but how the dress was designed. For the halter neck effect, it works best with the buttons up. Once they are down it’s no longer a halter neck as the shoulders sit differently.
DeleteAnon 10:10 You are mistaken about the definition of a halter neck. It is a halter neck when the garment connects behind the neck and the shoulders are uncovered. It makes no difference if the front is open or closed, solid fabric or a v- or scoop neck. I will be happy to link a few sites that have the definition if you would like.
Delete21:48 why so aggressive? This isn’t a competition. The other commenter @10:10 wrote “it works best” which is her opinion (and mine too!) and wasn’t seeking a “correct” definition.
DeleteI did a double take thinking it was the CH dress worn ‘18 to watch a polo game. I don’t dislike it nor do I like it. I’m in the middle. She seems to have lightened her hair, that or the sun is casting a shadow.
ReplyDeleteLowri.
Beautiful couple
ReplyDeleteReturn to the UK, we miss you, Megan!
ReplyDeleteTalk for yourself please, instead of propaganda.
DeleteNon mi manca affatto!
DeleteHa ha 9:13 … 11:37 missed your sarcasm.
DeletePlease take her. Most in the US would be happy to see her leave.
DeleteThe halter neck dress suits Meghan perfectly. The outfit is simple and elegant, as her outfits often are.
ReplyDeleteA slightly shorter, shoulder-length hairstyle would suit Meghan better, as it would many others. The current model is ok, but a little shorter would probably be wow. -Siri
I agree with you that the dress suits her well. I prefer it buttoned down the way she has it as opposed to the model.
DeleteI do like the length of her hair though and think it suits the dress as it provides a form of cover for her bare back in a different setting.
The only thing I would have changed is her heels, I prefer what the model wore, but I understand she does it for height.
T
This is a perfect dress for someone with a petite bust, a larger would easily look slightly out of space. Dark blue suits Meghan very well, and yes, her hair looks in very good shape. I like it.
ReplyDeleteI do think that family matters should mostly be kept private. So I am not a huge fan. I also don't care for halter dresses on anyone. But she looks nice. She is a beautiful lady. I think she is trying to make a good life. God bless her and her family. It's time to move on.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right. And she looks great.
Delete@Anon13:37, "time to move on": If you find it appropriate to educate everyone about moving on, then don't forget to include Meghan itself, who "tries to make a good life" by excluding her father completely from it and robbing her young children the family they could enjoy: grandparents, cousins, uncles, aunts etc. She is trying to make a good life for exactly one person: Meghan Markle.
ReplyDeleteWow. Take a breath. The world needs more forgiveness. We can't force it from others. It can only come from ourselves.
DeleteAnon 16:27 Meghan’s father and half sister have sold their souls to the devil trying to make money out of Meghan. She is absolutely right to stay well away. Her Dad wants photos of the children so he can sell them to the press for £££$$$$. When you have toxic family it is best to step away. LRB
DeleteYour comment has nothing to do with fashion. You are gossiping.
Delete@Anon 18:17: Not the "world" has to forgive, first Meghan has to forgive her own father to begin with, n'est ce pas?
ReplyDeleteGreat to see the Sussexes here again. Meghan nice as always. And Harry is hot.
ReplyDeleteCome on, Harry is not hot - at least not in the photos above. He is only hot because he is a prince, other than that he wouldn't get the time of day from most.
