The Duchess of Edinburgh is undertaking a four-day official visit to Alberta, Canada, from 4 to 7 September 2025. On the last day of her visit, the Duchess of Edinburgh visited the Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS) at Founders Plaza in Calgary. She then visited the Veterans Association Food Bank (VAFB), which is dedicated to supporting Canada's veterans and their families. On this occasion, she wore a tweed jacket by Frame.
FRAME Tweed Jacket
So now she does have a wonderful short jacket! Well done, and how good it looks! Thumbs up! Next step: please buy other colours and wear them over dresses and skirts too.
ReplyDeleteI like the short tweed jacket.
ReplyDeleteThe wide pants do no suit her. I think they are too wide for her and a bit too short. Not every pair of wide pants looks beautiful on the wearer. A lot depend on the way they are cut. I think Duchess Sophie should wear more the booth cut model. I do not see why she is wearing brown shoes with these pants and not the black ones she wore on the 1st day.
She is coming very close with her face to the dogs. She is almost kissing them. Not a good example for children, much too dangerous. Even if the dogs are attached, friendly and brought up well, one can never know in advance what they will do, it stays an animal after all.
Jättesnyggt, Sophie! Henningsson
ReplyDeleteJe suis ravie qu'elle ait trouvé une veste courte pour équilibrer son look ; j'espère qu'elle continuera sur sa lancée afin de la voir plus souvent avec ce genre de veste !
ReplyDeleteGreat look on the Duchess! MR
ReplyDeleteLove love the jacket fits her proportionally. Pants not so much the cut is not balance for her
