On September 2, 2025, Queen Mathilde visited the residential care center De Vijvers in Gentbrugge as part of the Te Gek!? campaign, which will focus on the elderly and mental health from the end of September. The campaign aims to make psychological issues among people over 65 more open for discussion and to raise awareness of them—not only among the elderly themselves, but also within their communities and among professional caregivers.

It has been said in previous posts in the middle of the holidays that Queen Mathilde and King Philippe and the children (or some of them) passed their vacations in their villa at Ile d'Yeu in France (Atlantic coast). It does not mean they stay there all the time. In previous years they escaped sometimes incognito to visit another European country like Croatia. I told this already during the vacation of this year, but what I noticed on several occasions that the bloggers do not read the comments of the others and ask 2-3 times the same questions.So for the next year remember their vacation address is Ile d'Yeu in France.

DeleteShe looks very nice in this pantsuit. Really like the fun shoes she added. Her hair looks good. While it is her signature hairstyle, It is styled nicely and is quite attractive on her. Not a big fan of the earrings.

She looks very well, but I do think she may have had some 'tweekments' on her face. She has also lost a little weight on her holiday.
ReplyDeleteQueen Mathilde had the time to relax during her summer holidays. That is what you see. When she has a very busy agenda she looks tired and her face looks sometimes swollen. All this is gone now. She is full of energy again. Google didn't translate "tweekments" but I can guess what you mean. I don't think Queen Mathilde had done something to her face, at least no chirurgical interventions. She takes probably care of herself but in a natural and intelligent way.
