On September 17, 2025, Queen Mary of Denmark attended the Nordic Rare Disease Summit at Industriens Hus in Copenhagen. Held on the occasion of Denmark’s Presidency of the European Union, the summit brought together patient representatives, decision-makers, and professionals from across the Nordic countries. The aim of the event is to strengthen the voice and rights of people living with rare diagnoses.
The Queen visited four theme stands that highlighted key issues faced by people with rare diseases and disabilities. This year’s theme is patient empowerment — creating frameworks that enable individuals with rare diagnoses to actively contribute to shaping future solutions and health policy initiatives. The Queen serves as Patron of Rare Diseases Denmark. On this occasion, the Queen wore a Kaleidoscope dress by Zimmermann.

My favorit royal ❤️
ReplyDeleteMine, too! Joanne
DeleteAgree!!!! So active, always well dressed and kind-the perfect Queen consort!
DeleteCount me in too 😉 she looks lovely and engaged in her work !
DeleteThe jacket is lovely. And it (almost) saves the whole outfit, because the dress has too much frills and ruches and whatnot, so I really don't like it - but thanks to the jacket, it is toned down, we see less of it. Alas, those hideous neck frills stay visible. She plays very nicely with her belts.
ReplyDeleteMy thinking exactly. Don’t love the dress but when paired with such a beautiful jacket, it works. She really understands what works for her. My favorite royal fashion by far!
DeleteFairly strong dislike there 18:19. Hideous?! I actually really like the dress’ neckline which is almost pleats versus frills. Interesting jacket. I don’t typically like her style of leather belt around suit jacket (although I do find it cute because it’s a Mary-ism), but in this case with the leather around the neckline, the waist belt is very harmonious.
DeleteSimply wonderful, as so often!
ReplyDeleteI do not think it is wonderful. The jacket and dress seem very mismatched to.
Marie.

DeleteWhen queen Mathilde receives flowers they are placed in the car which drives her back to Laeken. Afterwards the chauffeur is bringing them to the homes for the elderly in the region around the city of Brussels.
Paloma.
I love Mary's dress. Pretty colours and pretty style. Zimmerman seems to be the brand to wear these days.

Such a lovely dress! The jacket isn't a good match, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI agree. The jacket with its heavy leather trim and utility buckles would be lovely if worn with a more casual outfit in a heavier fabric, such as twill; but with the delicate gauzy chiffon of the dress, the contrast is jarring. Lyra
DeleteMary's hair looks wonderful here with those beautiful and neat & tidy waves.
ReplyDeleteThe lady in yellow is best dressed today I think!
ReplyDeleteThe two pieces are lovely individually I just don’t think the two together quite work. The dress is light and frilly the jacket velvet seems a little heavy in comparison.
ReplyDeleteLowri.
Queen Mary you look so much better with a side parting! All the time!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree. Makes her hair look fuller

ReplyDeletePairing this jacket with this dress was genius, imo. Few people would just instinctively have known that doing so would create an utterly charming outfit, which it did ♥️. I wonder if it was Mary herself, or her wardrobe person, or a stylist who created this look. Whoever it was, I’m in awe 🙂. — Jane
ReplyDeleteI normally love the Australian Zimmerman brand, but I don't like this dress. I don't mind the pleating of the bodice, but the tiers on the skirt part of the dress, a no, too much. Love her jacket, this is very attractive. A wonderful visit by the Queen.
ReplyDeleteLove the way all single pieces are well put together.
ReplyDeleteThis combination elevates the overall presentation.
Likewise, I love the way Q.Mary's hairstyle Is looking softer and more feminine than ever as of late.
Paloma.
ReplyDeleteNice simple and stylish, great look.
