On September 15, 2025, Queen Mary and Queen Margrethe visited the GeoCenter Møns Klint together. In the afternoon, they arrived at the GeoCenter, where they were welcomed by the reception committee. During the visit, they viewed the special exhibition Everything Is Connected, after which they toured the Life Orchids project area, which aims to promote and protect biodiversity with a focus on orchids.
GeoCenter Møns Klint is a geological and natural history museum on the island of Møn in southeastern Denmark. Located close to the top of the chalk cliffs known as Møns Klint, it was opened on May 29, 2007 by Queen Margrethe. The building was designed by PLH Architects, the winners of an international design competition.
On this occasion, Queen Mary wore a brown merino wool blazer by Harris Wharf London, a midnight flora patterned cotton blouse by ME+EM, and burnt orange straight-leg trousers by The Fold London. She completed the look with brown pumps from Malone Souliers.
Now this is a joint engagement I was looking forward to.
ReplyDeleteOh I love this outfit on Q. Mary! The proportions are perfect and so is the fit. The bright coloured trousers are unexpected but work so well. I really like her earrings too. The diamonds have real sparkle and impact yet the hoop style is quite casual. The perfect everyday earring. (V.M )
ReplyDeleteL’outfit non mi piace, ma Mary è splendida…ha lasciato il ref carpet alla suocera ☺️
ReplyDeleteQueen Margarethe has such a good sense for classic, always good, clothing.

DeleteAgree!
DeleteGreat respect, appreciation and love Mary for QMII.
ReplyDeleteI like the fall outfits on each other royal ladies. Their colors are well coordinated. I see the interaction in photos and hope they are real. But we do not know what goes on behind palace doors
ReplyDeleteYou are right @VirginiaDogwood, we do not know what goes on, but do we have to know?
DeleteWe can enjoy these wonderful photos which are full of joy and nice interaction between a mother in law and a daughter in law.
They both look very good in their outfits. I especially like Mary' pants with that smart looking sweater.
Mary loves her mother-in-law!
ReplyDeleteWaiting for the anonymous "Danish women" to cry
ReplyDeleteSeems that even non Danish people like you notice it
DeleteReally nice to see the two Queens at an event like this together. Wonderfully coordinating wardrobe choices, reflecting each of their styles. I'm mad for these Malone Souliers shoes as well as the Me+Em blouse. Both would fit nicely into my autumn wardrobe. 😉
ReplyDeleteGenuine warmth between the two royal ladies, beautiful to see. Love what Mary is wearing, very appropriate. Q Margarite looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWhat does one want. Two Queens at the same event. Lovely outfits.

In the first picture the blazer looks brown, like the browns which are fashion this autumn. In the following pictures the blazer looks black maybe it is due to the light. I like the brown color. In the last pictures Queen Mary wears a sweater and changed her shoes by Malone by some other shoes like booties maybe ? I never liked the weird shape of the shoes by Malone nor the way the straps are placed. It must be chilly where they are looking at Queen Margrethe sitting still on a chair.
ReplyDeleteBoth queen’s do look great and are enjoying each other’s company ❤️
ReplyDeleteTwo of my fabourite Queens ever.
ReplyDeleteI love Mary's enthusiasm (and also her shoes are to die for!!).
Toutes les deux sont élégantes, chacune dans son style ; en cette période automnale, Mary a su choisir pour son pantalon une belle couleur rouille !
