King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia are making a State Visit to Egypt from September 16 to 19. On the evening of Wednesday, September 17, 2025, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended a private dinner with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and First Lady Entissar Amer, held at an exclusive hotel with spectacular views of the pyramids. Afterwards, they toured the Giza archaeological site, including the Sphinx and the Great Pyramid of Khufu.

The Giza pyramid complex (also called the Giza Necropolis) is home to the Great Pyramid, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx. For her dinner with the President and First Lady and her visit to the Giza pyramids, Queen Letizia wore a new blue dress by the British brand Joseph.

    Beautiful. must be the lighting giving the dress a glow compared to the model. Letizia wore it best.

    La couleur bleue de cette robe semble encore plus belle avec la nuit, la soie a l'aspect du velours. J'aime un peu moins l'effet drapé mais la tenue convient bien à Letizia. Les chaussures argentées et la pochette assortie sont bien choisies pour une tenue de soirée et ajoutent des touches de lumière. Belle cravate en harmonie pour Felipe. Le décor est évidemment somptueux ! Paloma.

      It’s such a poetic observation, how the night enhances the richness of the blue and transforms silk into something almost velvety. Letizia’s elegance really shines through. And those silver accents? Perfectly chosen to catch the light and elevate the whole ensemble.

    A very flattering and appropriate ensemble for Letizia that compliments the First Lady's attire, and looks better on Letizia than on the model.

    The dress is an example of how beautiful draping and gathering can flatter one's physique. And, the style is made more magnificent if you have Letizia's figure. The sapphire colour is gorgeous. I especially love the shape of the sleeves and the waistband.

    Beautiful dress, colour fantastic, what I don’t like about this type of dress is the way the fabric falls on the chest creating two orbs. Doesn’t matter who the wearer is, for me it is not flattering.imo
