The President of the United States, Donald Trump, accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump, is making a three-day State Visit to the United Kingdom. On the evening of September 17, King Charles III and Queen Camilla hosted a State Banquet at Windsor Castle in honor of the US President and the First Lady. Melania Trump wore a sunflower-hued crepe column gown by Carolina Herrera for the occasion.
For the State Banquet, Queen Camilla wore a blue gown by Fiona Clare, paired with a sapphire and diamond tiara—part of Queen Elizabeth II’s sapphire suite. The George VI Victorian suite of sapphire jewels was a wedding gift to Queen Elizabeth II from her father.
The Princess of Wales wore a hand-embroidered silk crepe gown by British designer Phillipa Lepley. She paired the gown with a lily of the valley motif and the Lover’s Knot Tiara. Created by the House of Garrard in 1913, the diadem features diamonds and 19 hanging pearls set in silver and gold. The tiara was also a favorite of the late Princess Diana.
The Prince and Princess of Wales attended the State Banquet at Windsor Castle, held to honor US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. Other members of the Royal Family in attendance included Princess Anne and her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
The Prince and Princess of Wales shared a photo taken before leaving for the banquet. 'Ready for The State Banquet,' the caption read.

Melania is the winner! Different and daring. The combination yellow/pink/blue is a bit kitschy but hey she is the ex-topmodel who pulls it of.
ReplyDeleteI read that many people find it to revealing with the bare shoulders.
It's a bold on-royal choice in a royal environment.
But look at Letizia she also does it in a islamitic country so als a bold woman.
Namaste.
Melania's gown is too bright for a state dinner!
DeleteYou make a valid point wrt Letizia in Egypt; I would have preferred to see Mrs. Trump in something more in keeping with her usual low-key elegance, but I will say that the color of the belt — which intrigued me as it seemed to be different in every photo! — was an interesting choice in combination with the yellow.
DeleteI love the color. Take your moment to shine!
DeleteOh, no! Melania's bright yellow is just too ostentatious. She stands out like a fire hydrant. I also have to question the off the shoulder style.
DeleteThis is a conservative event not a Hollywood party.
Queen Elizabeth wore many strapless gowns in her time and looked exquisite. She also wore this same vivid yellow with even more color than Melania did.
Delete“There was a witty touch to many of the evening looks worn by the Queen during the '80s and '90s. In November 1999, the Queen wore one of her most famous evening dresses of all time at the Royal Variety Performance in Birmingham. Dubbed the "Harlequin" dress, a gold chevron-striped skirt was topped with a sequinned, diamond-patterned bodice. The dress's creator Karl-Ludwig Rehse told the Daily Telegraph that he was "overwhelmed" by the reaction to his design. "People seemed to be thrilled at how she looked. She was stunning," he said. "She's like all ladies, she'll go for something new. She's fun to work with and very knowledgeable about fabrics. She knows how the clothes have to behave – how they have to move."
https://people.com/royals/queen-elizabeth-most-memorable-looks/
Queen Elizabeth ‘s strapless gowns were never for a state dinner.
DeleteMelania the winner ??? I don’t think so
DeleteAnon 18:07 She did wear them at state dinners. She also had some with thin straps and a one shoulder gown all worn at state dinners, and she was bear armed unless she was wearing her gloves.
DeleteI'm a bit surprised by the First Lady's choice of gown and colour. It's beautiful no doubt, but not something I'd expect at a state dinner hosted by the King of England. The gown seems a bit casual amongst all the pomp and pagentry, glitter and sparkle that usually accompanies a state dinner hosted by the Brits. But perhaps therein lies it's charm. She's bucking the trend with simplicity. I think something a teeny bit more glamorous would have been better. The colours too - yellow and lilac - presented in this way seem odd for a nighttime, white-tie, state dinner banquet. The whole outfit would look fantastic at some other Summer outdoor banquet.
ReplyDeleteThe PsoW gown is pretty but not exceptional, and the Queen has stuck to her tried and true formula. It always works for her and she looks good.
- Anon 9:13
I agree with you on Melania's dress. She did so well with this wonderful Dior suit in the morning
DeleteI like the colour combination of the dress but the top half is unflattering. The cut makes Melania look like she has poor posture and a big waist - two things I wouldn't normally associate with her.
DeleteMaybe Camilla and Melania discussed this in advance so as to represent Ukraine :)
DeleteCatherine and Camilla are lovely but a bit predictable. Mrs. Trump is very fashion forward but I think a black belt would have looked better. She certainly has a great figure for that dress.
ReplyDeleteA black belt with that yellow dress would have been too bee-like.
Delete@23:32
DeleteI agree with you about Melania being very fashion forward.
Her figure is dazzling , statuesque, inspirational.
But I agree with@ Vanessa that a black belt would have looked too bee- like.
No no no to all evening gowns.
ReplyDeleteAva
AGREE !!!
DeleteWow Catherine you look gorgeous, the dress is beautiful & unique & lovely subtle tribute to Diana wearing the Lovers Knot Tiara. The Duchess of Gloucester elegant as always. Mary
ReplyDeleteWhy should say pay tribute at state dinners by means of a tiara ... each tiara in the royal vault usually gets more than one wearer. Let Diana RIP at last, why should anyone pay any tribute at a state dinner. This tiara has become her go-to tiara, maybe until she becomes queen. - The jewelry Queen Camilla wears here is also steeped deep in history, the pieces were worn by previous royal ladies/queens and there is no tribute implied in wearing them, except maybe a tribute to royal history itself.
DeleteThank you anon 0945, for stating so well these jewels are from the vault, ridiculous to keep referencing a previous wearer.
DeleteThe ladies look very pretty and appropriate, but I have a few comments:
ReplyDeletePrincess Catherine would look even better with her hair up in a bun to show off the collar of her dress and earrings. We've seen her in beautiful and elaborate updos in the past.
Mrs Trump - the color of the belt bothers me.
Queen Camilla and the Duchess of Gloucester are elegant in blue.
Princess Anne seems to be recycling some older dresses again - which I usually praise, but this is very 80s and long out of style now.
Was the Duchess of Edinburgh there? Could you add a photo of her from the reception?
Stephanie
-Dorothe-
DeleteI agree, that high necked gown needed an updo. I'm not a fan of the dress but so many people are. Princess Anne, dang, that one needs to go but I applaud her commitment to not caring !! haha
DeleteThe Duchess of Edinburgh wasn’t there - she was traveling to meet the Duke of Edinburgh for a visit to (I think) Japan.
DeleteWell, Catherine was an absolute dream. Stole the show in her delectable creamy gold gown. In motion it had a lovely "frothy" effect, which I wouldn't have thought could be achieved by only two layers. I loved the Duchess of Gloucester's periwinkle blue gown with satin detail on the neckline . And it was a pleasure to see Camilla in that breathtakingly beautiful tiara that imo is all the lovelier for being on a slightly smaller scale than the gigantic ones we often see on her. Mrs. Trump, though spectacularly beautiful, was not her usual quietly elegant self; I admit I was disappointed by the loud color, the odd hue of the belt, and the very bare shoulders. She usually knocks it out of the park. Anyway, what a fabulous occasion, and I'm so happy the Trumps were given such a warm welcome. -- Jane
ReplyDeleteAgree with you, Jane!
DeleteI wish Melania Trump would have chosen a much better dress and had her hair in an updo.
ReplyDeleteYes, I would have loved to see her in an updo, same wrt Princess Catherine. — Jane
DeleteThis is quite an elaborate dress for the Pss of Wales and she looks very elegant in it. I think that one of her wonderful updos would have been a better hairstyle choice rather than the long curls which obscure the details of the dress. I'd also love to see this dress with an all diamond tiara. That said, she and the P of Wales look very happy together!
ReplyDeleteAs for the other ladies, the D. Of Gloucester is her usual elegant self wearing the gorgeous Honeysuckle tiara. P. Anne's dress is so outdated and does nothing for her wonderful figure. And finally, Q.C. has piled on the diamonds and looks quite splendid. (V.M.)
Sorry, I disagree. I don’t think one looks splendid because they pile on lots of diamonds . I find this gaudy and ostentatious. Camilla had enough diamonds in her tiara and earrings - she didn’t need that heavy looking necklace. Duchess of Gloucester, usually my favorite, over did her necklace too. Take Catherine - she has a sash and royal bows on her chest. She didn’t overdo it with heavy necklace too. Nor did Princess Anne, though she could have pulled out a more stylish gown this time. Mrs. Trump was fashionably stylish, but I would have chosen a glittery belt or perhaps a thinner belt. Her earrings were stunning and a nice focal point of her face - not overwhelming with tons of jewelry. Very much like Q. Letitia. Did anyone notice to gorgeous gown and simple necklace that Tiffany Trump wore. I would like enjoyed more pics of her.
DeleteThe bias is so obvious when that bad picture of the Trump's are included. If you watch the video, it was only a split second transition bw them smiling and you clearly are trying to portray them in a negative way. Very nasty. They were a smiles & pleasant the whole time but for a moment of transition. As an American, I am offended. The truth is very clear when we watch the videos of this event and how much the royals are enjoying their time with the Trumps.
ReplyDeletewhat on earth are you talking about? What bad pictures?
DeleteWhy are you offended over a few pictures? (and what pictures are you talking about?) Of course there are smiles and pleasantries. Queen Elizabeth also smiled and laughed when hosting people she despised and the current royals do the same. It’s called diplomacy and the royals do it perfectly unlike their current guest.
DeleteI am pretty certain you (anon02:08) meant that the Trumps enjoyed their time with the royals, as they are the visiting party. It was pretty obvious they all seemed to have a good time together. Whyever not?
DeleteThank you for replacing that picture. Maybe it was an oversight. There has been so much hate everywhere that it strikes a chord. Your journalism is credited.
DeleteCatherine looks amazing. Her dress is beautiful in both design and color. I think this is the best I have seen her look wearing the Lovers Knot tiara, perhaps because her hair is more loosely styled around it so it does not look like she’s wearing the tiara like a headband. The Duchess of Gloucester looks elegant and fabulous, as usual. She is quite adept at wearing jewelry with elegant flair. I really dislike the First Lady’s outfit. The bright yellow dress, lavender/pink belt, and green earrings look discordant together to me - and I think the dress looks overly casual for the occasion, notwithstanding its full length.
ReplyDelete-Royal Watcher
Agree with Royal watcher!
DeletePerfectly summed up, Royal Watcher. However, I slightly disagree on the hair and tiara of HRH The Princess of Wales. I like it better with an updo. I also wished for her to wear a different tiara (perhaps the Strathmore Rose again?).
-Astrid.
Catherine looked stunning!MR
ReplyDeleteMeravigliosa Catherine ❤️
ReplyDeleteI think everyone looks fantastic, very glamorous. The purple belt on Melania is a surprise, and the high collar on Catherine's dress also. I think an updo might have been even more elegant with the high collar. But they are wearing really beautiful dresses, as is Camilla. Very glamorous!
ReplyDeleteDamsel Dragonfly
Charles,Camilla, William and Catherine look impeccable, as expected.
ReplyDeleteI am entranced by Catherine's look, which I did NOT expect. I think this look is a triumph -- equal to that of any movie star on the red carpet. Catherine usually wears her hair up for such events; but wearing her hair out loose with that tiara shape, the high neckline, the shoulder emphasis and the overall silhouette, is sublime. The super-abundance of intricate metallic gold lace in an antique ecru colour is reminiscent of historic coronation gowns of the late C18th and early C19th. The impression of a past era gives a romantic, fantasy feel to the ensemble, which happens to suit Catherine to perfection. Brava!
I note that Anne and the Duchess of Gloucester are, it seems, the only ones to carry on the tradition of wearing evening gloves. Anne is some-one who always likes to take long strides, so I think a fuller skirt would suit her better than this straight one (pic 8).
Melania's gown (pic 1) is too long for her shoes. Perhaps she changed her mind about her shoes at the last minute, and forgot that it might create a hem problem. Lyra
I entirely agree with you about Catherine's look.
DeleteI am entranced as well.
Catherine is every inch the now fairytale princess and the future queen! So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAnne, Camilla and the Duchess of Gloucester look wonderful!
Melania Trump looks as if she's going to a beach-party.
Catherine is really the golden girl!
ReplyDeleteI like the First lady's gown, the color offsets the Queen's blue gown. Her lilac belt and shoes are a gorgeous color.
ReplyDeleteHer diamond and emerald earrings are sensational!!!
Queen Camilla looks nice, in her gown, the color is gorgeous.
Catherine looks incredibly beautiful. This gown is stunning, her hair down works well in this instance. Love her diamond earrings perfect with this dress. She looked incredible, love her gold shoes.
The D of G looks superb, I love her blue gown, the satin cuffs and neckline are very becoming. Her jewelry choice was on a whole nother level, superb!
I think that Melania was well aware since the start that her avantgarde number by Carolina Herrera would raise surprise, if not astonishment, given this royal gala dinner context.
DeleteShe has a subtle knack for pushing boundaries sometimes, which I admire so much.
She played the card of bold contrasts and won leaving all the others enough room to shine all at the same time.
It takes a great deal of confidence and fashion expertise to make this kind of blatant glamour blend in well in these royal surroundings deeply rooted in history and traditions.
Melania has what is needed to dazzle , no matter the occurence and the status of the people involved.

DeleteP the original. Great comment, lovely to hear from you thank you. I have seen some comments on other sights, criticizing her gown, but I thought she looked incredible! Well said and articulated words, P the original Hugs!
DeleteThank you, Ava.
DeleteYou know, I have developed a theory of my own in relation to some very beautiful , standout women , be it royals or not.
The more they are dazzling ,the more they are criticized.
The reason is pretty obvious, I don't even need to explain😉👍👋
Hugs to you , too, @ Ava!!
DeleteAll look very nice, but the princess of Wales is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteKate's dress is beautiful but I think an updo would have elevated her look.
ReplyDeleteThe D of G looks elegant as always.
Haven't seen any photos of Sophie which is a pity because she normally dresses well on these special occasions.
An unusual choice of dress from Melania for a state banquet.
Cate.
Sophie didn't attend the state banquet unfortunately, she is travelling to Japan for a visit.

DeleteI didn't know that.
Edward was in PNG this last week but Sophie didn't accompany him.
Cheers. Cate.
DeleteEveryone look great. POW dress is sublime, but unfortunately I don't like the combination dress-hair, even if usually I have nothing against her hair (I love long hair).
ReplyDeleteI am quite disappointed about Melania… I would have expected much better for a Royal Venue
ReplyDeleteReally how else is she going to get people to look at her. But having said that I don’t mind the dress colour or the belt. She suits and wears it well. She is more fashion forward than the Brits.
DeleteI think Melania’s outfit looked unexpectedly beautiful. Very refreshing indeed with that colour combination!
ReplyDeleteFor me, Melania was right choosing something completely different, something that is evidently not meant to try to be similar to or competitive with what women of the Royal Family wear. Maybe not the best she has ever worn, but very "telling" for me as for why she might have chosen it. Maybe the colour combination is somewhat too different from what one expects, pink and yellow would have been sufficient, green emeralds are stretching it a bit too far. But as a whole, I am all for her being different and showing it. - It is a pity that Catherine did not have an updo, not even because of the tiara, but because of this dress closed so high on her neck. If it does, better show it full (also from behind. Her hair open almost function as a second "gown" in that it tends to intervene with the real outfit).
ReplyDeleteAnother round, another race.
ReplyDeleteP. Catherine: classic, regal, majestic gown.
As far as I can see, It consists of a champagne satin gown covered with a superb (embroidered, brocade?) ton sur tone overlay.
An opulent ensemble, just what is appropriate for the Princess of Wales on this occasion.
I think she wears the "Lover's knot" tiara, which Princess Diana used to favour.
All her jewellery leaves me breathless.
Spectacular hairstyle as always.
Shine on, Catherine, shine on!!👍👏👏
The Prince of Wales is dapper in his gala uniform.
The First Lady Is incredibily glamorous and beautiful.
I see that she opted for and entirely modern, edgy, eye- catching, bright yellow ensemble.
The lilac belt is an exquisite addition.
She has a beautiful hairstyle, I'd like to see the back of It.
Stunning jewellery as well.
Makeup is on point for both ladies.
All the other royal ladies look well groomed, my favourite colour being that rich royal blue shade on Q.Camilla.
Her jewellery is gorgeous as well.
What a jewel binging, folk!!
Melania goes from bad to worse what is she gonna wear to beat this today.
ReplyDeleteI think I have nothing to add to all your praises, except that I think that the neckline of Melania’s dress is not good, it makes her less elegant than she is.
ReplyDeleteThe daring colour combination is oké, but the designer should have done better than the bare shoulders.
Camilla looks excellent the dress style and colour suits her; hair and makeup looks good, as do the jewels. Anne looks good the style of her outfit is nice, I do not like Kate's old fashioned style of dress; with all the gold on the table her outfit is not flattering; her hair need to be pulled back, the jewels look nice. I do like Melania's dress, the jewels are just right(Tara)
ReplyDeleteI like Melania's dress. The 2 things she should have done differently are the color of the earrings and the color of the belt. Maybe a thinner gold belt and golden earrings would have been better. I like the style of the dress. Queen Letizia wore the same neckline in Egypt. On pics. N° 2 & 5 there is another lady in a blue dress just behind the Prince and Princess of Wales with the same neckline.
ReplyDeletePrincess Catherine's dress is beautifull, but the shoulder pads are too wide and pointy. A less high neckline would have looked more relaxed. I wonder if the same idea of a dress would have been executed in another color it would have looked fresher and brighter.
Queen Camilla and the Duchess of Gloucester both in their usual styles.
Princess Anne in one of her worn out dresses. Sir Tim is looking good at least 10 years younger than his wife.
Well, Sir Tim L is roughly 4.5 years younger than Princess Anne anyway.
DeleteAnon in London
For me, Princess Anne does not look a day older (or older than her husband) than she is. Old/vintage-like is her clothing, yes, we are free to dislike it, but not old at all is her demenanor, her fitness level, her figure, her work level.
DeleteI also would like to add that in another well-known and respected royal blog it is forbidden to talk about bodily characteristics (to which age related remarks and comparisons like yours belong), posts that do not adhere are deleted. It lacks respect to do so, the people we are talking about should not be free to any kind of vileful gossip and ageism.
@anon 12:42 Thank you for mentioning the policy on not discussing bodily characteristics. This is an ongoing problem here. I would love to see the portions of comments that critique the body deleted before posting.
Delete@Anon 14:21: Yes! Nudging people towards being a bit more respectful (and ontopic) would result in a fabulous fashion blog here.
Delete@ Anon. 12:42, 12:21
DeleteExcuse me I didn't talk about bodily characteristics. You did. I talked about her dress looked worn out and that her husband looks younger than his wife. Which apparently is true but I didn't know he was really younger than she is. If only Princess Anne did a little effort and bought a new dress instead of always wearing the same old one I would be the first to say she looked much better.
I remember last winter I saw Princess Anne for the first time in a red coat in which she looked really good. Apparently it was a new coat. I wrote immediately that she looked so much better. During spring this year I think, she wore a new trench style short jacket in one of those new fabrics they use often lately, I wrote immediately that she was wearing a beautiful jacket and it suited her very well. I didn't talked about bodily characteristics then either. Is it a crime to say that somebody looks better in this or that garment ? I don't think so. It is not a crime to say that somebody is wearing a garment that is worn out either. But it is a problem on this blog that of some royals one cannot say the truth about the way they dress and of other everybody can give elaborated descriptions about their body characteristics which are the reason why their clothes doesn't fit.
I really find that both of you were exaggerating and accusing me of things I didn't wrote.
Paloma.
The red-effect dress code for the men is so called "Windsor Uniform" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windsor_uniform
ReplyDeleteAnon in London
Paloma.
DeleteKate’s hair looked messy; for an event like this, an updo would have been much more elegant. She also changed the shade to a lighter color, which I think is far less flattering on her—the hair looks almost burnt, and the darker brown suited her complexion much better and made her look younger. The dress also looked washed out on her. Still, since Kate has an amazing figure, she always looks good and gets compliments. But compared to her other evening appearances, she could have looked much, much better.
ReplyDeleteYou don't know if she did something to her hair so please don't put it as if it was the One-and-Only Truth. Ambient light changes the colours.
DeleteI agree
DeleteHave you already forgotten that Catherine has always been old/ too old in your "opinion", no matter the colour of her hair, the length and whatever?
DeleteYou also seem to have already forgotten the trim - trim/ wig/ hair pieces/ extensions songs you have sung at any appearance from the Princess of Wales!
I see that you apply your ageism mantra to another lady portrayed on this post, congratulations!
I get the impression that you keep on talking about old age because it is something that frightens you to the core.
I wonder how your obsessive age criticism can be approved and published, mumble...

ReplyDeleteImagine having tons of money, jewels, and access to the best dressmakers.
And this is the result.

DeleteQueen Elizabeth use to say she wore bright colors so that people could see her in a crowd. I am not the biggest fan of Melania but if the late Queen could wear bright colors why should Melania not wear them and I like the emeralds she is wearing too!
ReplyDeleteNot the biggest fan of Catherine's look. The high neck would've benefitted from an updo. In addition, I feel like the cream + lace combo is too old for her, it's something we'd normally see on Anne or the late Queen. The vintage cut doesn't help, even though the gown itself is of course exquisite. I definitely preferred her red gown from the last state visit. And my jewellery-obsessed heart wishes for her to dig through the vault for another tiara next time.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, Camilla looks very pretty in blue and while predictable, I like the cut of the dress. Melania is my personal surprise of the evening. She works that gown. It looks elegant despite the bright colour and I think she styled it beautifully. No, it doesn't look regal like many of the other dresses, but modern and appropriate for a First Lady.
-Nika-
Melania was right for a black tie…let’s say a premiere, a charity ball or red carpet. Otherwise it’s a huge NO for a state banquet…least of all, a state banquet hosted by a European monarchy.
ReplyDeleteTrump has that makeup on his right hand again. The color is way off. Just drawing attention to his hand instead of taking it away.
ReplyDeleteMelania looks like she's dressed for a different dinner with a slightly different dress code.
My favorite is Princess of Whales dress. I wonder if it comes with different colored coat overlays. How long before we see other versions on other royal ladies?
Color of his blinding white dentures is off too!
DeleteMight want to check the spelling of the Princess’ name…. 🤣
DeleteWhales, really??
Deletei think melania normally dresses well but this yellow dress is unflattering in so many ways. it does nothing for her, very good, figure. the colour doesnt suit her and the earrings dont match anything. i liked all her other outfits from the trip but this was awful
ReplyDeleteLove the gowns, the Q looks stunning in blue, Melania Trump has the figure to wear this gown, great look. Cathrines gown is great, but I wished she put her hair up, with the hair down it took something away from the look. Tiffany was a yes too, lovely gown. The light blue gown the Dss of Gloucester wore looked very nice, sadly the Pss Royal's gown looked a bit dated. The Jewels are a definite wow.
Deletecss
I don’t think Melanie has such a “great” figure. Stomach shoes when she wears tight clothes and a flared skirt would suit better her bony hips. The dress isn’t a gown, and whilst other ladies (Catherine included) have worn before off the shoulder dresses, Melania’s Carolina Herrera leaves too little to the imagination.
ReplyDeleteCatherine’s choices for gown and hairstyle make her look too much like a Disney princess. Supposedly she wanted to show the British craftsmanship. It just looked overly ornate. Very long hair just hanging out her back rather than a nice updo was a little disappointing. Overall not my favourite look, especially compared to her other State Dinner showings.
Camilla was of so blue. And overly bejewelled. But she likes blue - we all know it.
Anne’s dated two-piece outfit gets brownie points for rewear.
D of G is consistently a dependable elegant dresser. Wonder if she has a stylist (probably not). There is something about her that makes me want to meet her - I am sure it would be great conversation.
CH
Stomach, bony hips?
DeleteI don't think so.
She has the right curves in the right places and the height to showcase this fantastic body shape at its best.
She has a balanced figure, long legs and a gorgeous face.
One can't ask for more.
One of the worst looks of the Princess of Wales. She looks tired and her hair is a mess. Although she hardly ever wore her hair right for tiaras for some reason it never suits her. I think she tried to copy one of Queen Rania’s signature look. It’s a pity because Catherine has worn beautiful gowns and such pretty hairstyles in the past. But this one is a fail for me.
ReplyDeleteSome comment yellow was too loud a color. Well Catherine has worn red to state dinners and so did Queen Letizia of Spain wore red to state dinner in Britain. Some complain that the off the shoulder is not appropriate. Well, again Queen Letizia of Spain wore a red off the shoulder gown to the state dinner in Britain for the Spanish royals visit. If it is good enough for a queen, then it is good enough for our First Lady, Melania. I think Melania looked marvelous!
