Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit are visiting six municipalities in Hallingdal from Tuesday, September 23, to Thursday, September 25. Hallingdal (Halling Valley) is both a valley and a traditional district located in Buskerud County, Norway. It consists of six municipalities: Flå, Nes, Gol, Hemsedal, Ål, and Hol. The visit focuses on children and youth, education, inclusion, volunteerism, culture, local food, the Year of Outdoor Recreation 2025, and company visits.
The three-day visit began in the municipalities of Gol and Hemsedal, with a strong emphasis on children and young people, as well as culture and traditions. Upon their arrival, the Crown Prince Couple were welcomed at a community celebration. This annual county tour is a tradition, with the Couple visiting a different county in Norway each year.

While this is not the most interesting fashion statement, it has something very qute to it; I cannot but wonder whether the lilac muffler and mittens are gifts that M-M received along the visits? Lovely to see her out and about.
ReplyDeleteSorry, it should read "cute"...
DeleteI suppose it isn't that warm anymore in the Scandinavian countries. I felt the cold wind which came from the North where I live. I also took a warm parka out of the closet to do some errands. I thought by myself, it is time that I take my gloves out of the closet where they stay during the summer.
ReplyDeleteThey both look good and CP M.-M.'s light mauve shawl made a beautiful contrast with her platina blond hair.
The autumn is here in Scandinavia, so you are quite right.
ReplyDeleteNot a wow effect but nice.
